Easter service happens once a year, and I wanted to capture the moment and make a short video. Unfortunately, the guard forbade me to do this, although I did not bother anyone. We had to leave and won't be returning. I don't understand why these bans are needed; the church should be open to people, and not impose unnecessary restrictions.

This is a lovely church in Georgetown and just a short walk from M Street. I have been here twice now, once for a funeral and recently for a much more happier occasion, a wedding. It is beautiful inside and well worth a look if you find yourself this way or want to have a wedding here, or a funeral.

I attended a funeral recently here and found the service, atmosphere, and feel to be welcoming. I found the building to be a sanctuary away from the multiple stresses that exist outside. The choir is beautiful. I have never been to an episcopal service and found it inspiring. I plan to go here as much as possible, if simply for a place to find quiet.

Beautiful rite II 9am Eucharist, it seems to be the perfect service for families with young children. There were several wiggly kids and no one batted an eye- seems very welcoming!

Lovely second hand shop with some nice collectibles. The silverplate selection is nice. Some affordable deals in a diverse price range. Nice volunteers and staff.

It is a very friendly Episcopal church in Georgetown. Services daily with four every Sunday and an extra one, Evensong, twice a month. In the summer they use the garden/courtyard for morning service. Several ways to get involved if you desire but no pressure to. They also have a thrift shop for household items. The history of the church is incredible too with Francis Scott Key being one of the founders in 1817.

Visitor to D.C. and a friend recommended CCG for Ash Wednesday. Beautiful service. Gorgeous choir (some sung in latin!) The Rector was wonderful to listen to, thoughtful. Folks were welcoming.
