Cathedral Commons is an excellent place to live! Price/location/and people make it the best deal in the city. Staff is very helpful, the amenities are excellent, and the neighborhood has everything. It is also a great neighborhood if you have a dog, there is a dog park two blocks away, and many doggie bag dispensers if you forget to bring a bag.

Our daughter has lived at CC since March 2024 - we could not be happier with her choice. Our top priorities were safety & cleanliness - CC goes above & beyond. She actually chose it over City Ridge - she said that it felt more welcoming. Monica, Corine & Tony are the best - always super kind and postive - they all treat our daughter like she is their own. Greatly appreciate all that you do.

I moved into this building sight unseen after i relocated from Miami. Immediately i was given the warmest welcome. Corrine and Tony feel like family and being in the city alone, i feel very well taken care of. I love this building and i love the staff. And special shout to Monica who is always available and so helpful.

The building and management are great, but the fire alarm falsely goes off once every 1-2 weeks at unpredictable hours (sometimes 6am, sometimes 2pm). The alarm is also VERY loud. We really do love the space, but there are some challenges with living here.

This is a wonderful apartment community. The entire team is made up of professional people who truly care about their residents. I have lived here for over a year and it is immaculately clean, quiet at night, and best of all, no smell of weed anywhere, as it is a nonsmoking community. After a day spent out anywhere else in this city, that is very refreshing.They are very responsive and friendly and maintenance is prompt. The one con is the freight elevator- it is out of order around 50% of the time. If I were healthy, I would just use the stairs, but as I can’t right now, the slow wait times is the only down side.If you are a respectful, considerate adult, you would be very pleased if you chose cathedral commons as your home. It is truly an oasis of calm in this city.Update 2/2024They fixed the elevator and now with 2 in service, they are very quick. This is an amazing staff and a wonderful place to live.

This is a much delayed review as we’ve been happily living here for over a year. Walking home everyday and receiving such warm and happy conversations and care from Monica, Corrine, Tony and Grace make Cathedral Commons an exceptional building to call home. They each go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and assisted with anything we may need that day. We always look forward to seeing them! Malick is a lovely and valuable asset to keeping the building running seamlessly. The cleaning staff is friendly and so kind to my children as we walk through the building and keep the place amazingly spotless. It’s like a hotel the way there is always someone pruning the landscape, vacuuming and keeping it clean. I have no complaints. There are frequent activities and dining experiences in the club room that are so fun to pop into for meeting and chatting with neighbors. This building is top-notch in service and incredibly wonderful employees who make it feel like a home. (Apologies for not writing all the names of those who work here, as they all deserve credit.)

Great building. Great amenities. Great location. But above all else a great staff. After my dog passed away they gave me a condolence letter handwritten and flowers. She will be missed and I usually don’t write reviews but it was such a thoughtful and caring gesture that I can’t see getting many other places in DC. Thank you CC.

Cathedral Commons is a wonderful community, a gem amidst all the options. The staff, including Monica, Brian, Corinne, and Tony, are all so pleasant and helpful. They make my family and friends feel welcome and at home when they visit, and everything is really well kept. I submitted several maintenance requests the night of Easter Sunday, and they were all done before noon the next day. Thank you, Rafael, and the rest of the maintenance team! It's service and quality you think you can never expect but meets every standard.

We have lived here for 7 years and love it. The building is gorgeous and super clean and the staff are amazing. I hosted an event in the Club room and Tony the concierge gave outstanding service. He greeted the guests as if he were welcoming them to his own home. I love living here!

My family moved to Cathedral Commons almost two years ago.We have had the best experience at CC so far. We love everything about our apartment and the wonderful community. The leasing office staff, concierge and maintenance are all very thoughtful and caring. My family enjoys the community events that CC has been hosting. It creates a lot of great memories in my kids.We really feel at home and we are so happy we moved to Cathedral Commons. Thank you Brian, Monica, Corrine and Nicole for all what you do to make your residents happy and comfortable.

Really great place overall. Would have rated 4.5 if I could .5 stars.+ : Calm, clean, front desk is amazing, response times are very good, gym in the building, common area and garden.- : little steep on price, also do expect elevator issues. There are 2 elevators and 1 can be down for quite some time.Overall would highly recommend if it’s within your budget. Location is great and people are nice and helpful.

I first moved into Cathedral Commons beginning of Fall 2021. The staff have been nothing but professional and kind since then. Especially concierge staff like Corine who is so thoughtful and fast friends with my dog Remi (also very pet friendly!) The amenities are clean and the resident gym is perfect for a quick workout whenever you need. Location can’t be beat near restaurants and easily accessible downtown or Virginia or Maryland by car.
