Excellent service and products! Best prices for halal meat and chicken. I have been a customer for years. I'm actually glad they are in a different location given all of the gentrification in what used to be the Florida Ave. Wholesale Market. However I am saddened for the businesses that were priced out/pushed out to make way for high priced restaurants, apartments & retail. It destroyed the authenticity of the area.

This is the bomb for beef patties fresh meat spices, not like the market in Tacoma Park MD they are to expensive.

The quality of meats are great. Customer service is awesome as well and it's clean. I've visited a few halal markets in the area and this one is my favorite. Going shopping there today!

December 2021: There's a big sign over the door that says they're moving to Landover soon. I was able to get what I needed most, but the stock is limited, I assume because of the impending move.

A unique selection of spices, Caribbean condiments, some staple foods like rice and lentils and Halal butchery (including lamb), all at great prices. The Bulgarian sheep cheese in particular is excellent and cheap at ~$5 a lb. The customers are diverse and the workers are respectful to everyone, and are often friends with the patrons.FYI, there is no fresh produce or fish.

Great products, very friendly staff as always. Too bad the gentrification of the area is catching up with them as they might have to relocate. Would be a loss for the diversity of the community and the moving out of a truly great store of DC.
