So many bad reviews tells you all you need to know about the failed Capital One management. The branch refused to accept a $5 deposit because the only picture ID I had on me was a Global Entry ID issued, by the United States Department of Homeland Security along with entering my PIN and using my Capital One Debit card when making the deposit. First of all, why is there any ID requirement for a $5 deposit at the teller, when you can make a deposit at the ATM without presenting any ID? It is a deposit, not a withdrawal. And why does a Global Entry ID which takes more work to get than a US Passport, not recognized as a government issued photo ID? This branch and the other branch under common leadership wasted two hours before finally relenting, but only as "a one time courtesy." I told the manager not to worry because I won't be back and she was glad to hear it. One less customer means less work for her.

Avoid Naheed (the notary and msg) at all costs! She is extremely obtuse, makes things unnecessarily difficult, and very inappropriately scrutinizes people with disabilities. She will phone back, which is more than a lot of bank employees do. Also, capital one doesn’t let you make appointments, so be prepared to wait around for hours before you're subjected to Naheed’s impossible scrutiny (they only validate parking for one hour).

Training is nonexistent - the bank employees do not understand their own banking practices, rules, department areas of responsibility, even hours.

Moved an account from Truist, which has insanely low interest rates and generally inept customer service. I was happy to find a welcoming and smart staffer, who helped me start a high interest saving account and tend to my checking account. Took just minutes, vs. iceberg-slow service at the Connecticut and Fessenden Truist.

Loan Sharks! The credit card dept. will not unlock your credit card even if current with payments and in THESE COVID 19 TIMES they won't defer payments or refund fees. UNHUMAN CAPITALISTIC SHARKS. YOU DISGUST PEOPLE FOR THE WAY YOU ARE DOING BUSINESS IN THESE NATIONWIDE DIFFICULT TIMES! SHAME ON YOU.

The employees are fine, service is good, location and hours of operation suit most customers schedules. So why the measly 2 (really 2 1/2) star rating? As with many banks, this location has a coffee/tea machine for the convenience of their patrons. A nice touch--- IF they had coffee, tea and cups. Invariably at least 1 of those 3 essential items is always missing. Disappointing. Surprise your customers one day and get it together. There are 3 other competitive banks within a one block radius that are hungry for your business and where patrons can truly feel appreciated.

They are cutting back on staff and having thier staff do more than one job. The problem is you don't get some one who knows enough to help you with your questions or give you advise that you can trust.
