When I first open this account the customer service was great! Just called and spoke with Shawna and will be closing and opening accounts elsewhere. Super deplorable customer service the absolute worst!Went to the branch and she is even more disrespectful in person. Seriously, if you don't like your job then you should find another one!

Although you can open the credit card, there is a language barrier, but the employees don’t even try to help, even with the use of Google translator. Apparently they are not interested in clients. I will also close my debit card at this bank. service is bad

Yelpers here is the 411 on Capitol One:Pros:*free checking & savings *the cafes are nice*the real humans that work behind the counters are great*little perks here and there are amazing My 1 star review is purely for their online banking customer service. Particularly their online customer service "manager" Sonja.Capitol One has a history of sending people "Oops there is an error message", dating back to 2020 from my research. It still hasn't been fixed till this day. See Reddit thread here:reddit.com/r/CreditCards…Last post was made 1 month ago, and it happened today. It is very apparent they have an incompetent tech team, who still has yet to fix this issues 3 years later.I've logged on last night with no problems, until I started to get the error message. It took me 3 phone calls, 4 transfers, 5 holds, and 48 mins trouble shooting, and speaking to Sonja to tell me:"You're locked out. Because it's a algorithm thing with banks."Me: "I've had Citibank for the last 10 years (still do), Chase, Wells Fargo, WaMu, BoA, and this is the first time that I've encountered a banking institution telling me I'm locked out due to an 'algorithm'."Sonja: Uhhh... I don't know what to tell you. I can send you a letter. A letter wasn't going to do anything. People on the Reddit thread has said that this letter does nothing to help solve their issues. I asked to be transferred to their Tech Department, which by the way, get this..."Refused to talk to me (the client), because I haven't been locked out for 24 hours yet."No, I didn't get the wrong password. I simply logged on too many times, according to Sonja. That's the BIGGEST nonsense I've heard in my life. Even then, that sounds like a THEM problem. If I was truly locked out, wouldn't there be a you're locked out of your account message? Sonja kept repeating how much was in my checking account. However, that's not what I asked her. I asked her to transfer me to either her supervisor, or these tech people who flat out refuse to take peoples calls before the 24 hours is up. Sonja claimed there was no one there, so she just literally threw her Direct Report under the bus. I can smell BS from 2,000 miles away. Either get it together or get your story straight.

I was a Chevy Chase Bank customer when Capital One took over. They have the WORST customer service ever, and their services SUCK! THEY LIE LIKE A RUG, TO YOUR FACE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN! ATM has been partially functuonal for almost two (2) months now, and everytime you inquire, they say, "Oh, I was not aware that the ATM was not working"......LIARS! You dont know that it has been partially working or not all for almost two (2) months? Seriously? Everyone, do your self a favor and find another bank, who at least cares about your banking concerns.

Worst Capital One bank branch ever! Manager or banker was sitting in front and talking on the phone for 15 mins while people wait in line. Also sent me away saying I don’t have an appointment. They were no body in there. Their system don’t have available time slot next 6 months. Lazy bank workers and useless manager. Close the branch if you won’t serve your customers.

I would NOT recommend banking here. They lied in terms of their offerings. I don’t find them to be trust worthy and their services are subpar compared to their competitors.

Baits customers with false deposits from bankrupt companies with their capital one 360 product, customer service verifies the deposits as legit over the phone, stating that they are from your regular depositor despite what the description says, then abruptly reverses the deposits a week later, and profits off the overdraft and interest charges. I can't wait until this fraud is exposed.

Hi I called today to replace my lost at home credit card. I asked the representative not to block the current card while sending the replacement. They did completely wrong blocking the card + I had to wait over 30 minutes and been asked the same questions over and over. This is terrible service. Plus I cannot customize the design of the card, which almost every financial institution offers to do and it’s quite easy.

If you want to wait 20 minutes for a single roll of quarters because one person in the entire branch has access to them, have an employee audibly and visibly gossip about you with another customer, and then be condescendingly spoken to by said employee asking if you still want to be helped given your visible frustration, then this is your bank. Otherwise, there are better options. Anywhere else, really.
