I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Amos who is currently employed at Calvert Woodley Fine Wines & Spirits. Amos provides excellent customer service with his polite and patient demeanor. He excels at matching a client’s budget with a choice of wine and champagne appropriate to the occasion. My daughter, Airlie, and her husband, Nicholas, from Chamonix, France, as well as her mother-in-law, were extremely impressed with his knowledge of champagne from the region, while still offering competitive price ranges. Hands down, Amos is my go-to person for a variety of social occasions!

Best liquor store in DC with the best wine selection in DC - hands down. Pick yourself up some bread, cheese, and or excellent charcuterie cuts while you're here. You can't go wrong, especially because the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly.

The selection of wines, liquor and cheese are exceptional. A very well run shop with great service. Truly a Washington institution. The staff helps you with your questions, gives great recommendations. It’s a very nice experience and you will find everything you need.

Mmm definitely gave off follow you in the store while being Black vibes. Other than that they have a good selection of non-alcoholic option if your sober curious or just want other options to try out!
