I was so excited to go to this store, I have been shopping online for years, and when I found out there was on in DC, I wanted to go while I was visiting. Man, was I so disappointed! Everything costs so much more than the prices online! Not just a little bit. I want specifically shopping for Copic markers. Online, they are $3.90-$5.89 for Caio and sketch. In the store, the caio is almost $6, and the sketch are almost $8. I asked an employee why things in the store are so much more and they said because of shipping and having a store. I have never been to a store where online and in-person prices were different. I do not recommend going. Even after shipping, things online are cheaper than in the store. I do not recommend going at all. It was such a waste of time and excitement. I have not been this disappointed going to an art store in my life. There are no differences in price compared to Michael's. Don't waste your time or money coming here.

My favorite place visited during my trip, staff was friendly and kind. The shop was designed well and item’s featured were done great, lots of things to choose from and options available. For the size of the store compared to other large boxy art places back home this shop was definitely better than them and I felt more welcomed and one with art here. Came back twice during my 5 day stay in DC, and it was nice for them to have student discounts as well!!

The staff are very friendly and informed - even if they don't know a specific answer, they can direct you to lots of great resources. Always like going in person just to browse sometimes, too.

Great selection of art supplies, great prices, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I am so happy with my experience at Blick both in person and online. I got some art markers from them and found out one was dry when I got home. I brought it back to them and they exchanged it for a new one. When I got additional markers online they were packed carefully and securely to make sure they arrived in perfect condition.
