I have been calling to try to enroll my daughter since July 12th. On my first call, I spoke with the owner and she said she would send me a zoom link for the virtual tour. After the discussion, I did not receive a zoom link! I have called and called and cannot get through to anyone nor leave a message. I have sent emails through there website also with no result. I just had my Caucasian friend call and she got someone one the phone after the third ring!!!! They told her there will be openings for October and November! Very suspicious to me that I could not get through to someone on the phone! I thought maybe my phone was defective, so I called from my husband's phone. I called from my sister's phone! I guess the caller ID showing my friend's name, a more eurocentric name, versus my African name was acceptable! Keep your daycare! Just shows that if my child went there how they would treat my sweet baby!!!

Fantastic place for my son to grow and learn! He's been at Blandi's from 1.5 to 3, and we love his teachers and the folks that run Blandi's. They're a family run business, been in the neighborhood for over a decade, and will treat your kiddo like their own. Slots can be hard to come by, so get on the waitlist!

We have absolutely LOVED our experience at Blandi's. Our child started at 14 weeks (is 1.5 years now) and is thriving. We are so grateful to all of the amazing staff and teachers there, as well as to the parents and community it has provided. Our daughter goes in each day with a smile on her face, and nowadays, runs inside with a half-goodbye rendered at the door - she is too excited to get in and play with her friends and teachers. Her days are filled with art, song, dance, open play, and outdoor activities (when the weather is nice). She is able to interact with kids her age and older/younger than she is, which has been amazing for her development and comfort around others. Multi-faceted diversity is celebrated - she has learned so much (including some Spanish and Amharic words!). Most importantly, she is safe and cared for in a loving environment that is encouraging her to thrive. As a parent, I am SO pleased and happy with the amazing communication we have with the directors and teachers. I also love that Blandi's is socio-economically diverse, does not charge for waitlisting, and is welcoming of tours. They were the most responsive during our daycare search, and if we had a second, we would absolutely want them to go here. Lastly, the directors have been amazing about keeping the parent community connected to the local community as well; Kennedy street is... Kennedy street, but they have great relationships with the local ANC and police department and have done community walks and awareness building, participation in safety walks, etc. We appreciate their commitment to safety, our kiddos, and their education!!

I am so grateful to have found Blandis. They are fantastic - the teachers and the staff are superb and so responsive and caring. They are so creative and have great parent involvement as well. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

My child is so happy here at daycare. She looks forward to going every day and is thriving! She has been enrolled here for over a year now. All of her teachers and all of the staff here are very caring and loving towards the children, and we feel very safe here. Also the value is amazing. I highly recommend.

Blandis has been a phenomenal experience for my kids. They love the teachers so much. The program really goes above and beyond to ensure that children are being engaged, and it is clear that the staff love what they do.

My husband and I feel so lucky to have found Blandis. Our 13 mo/old has been there since he was 4 months and we have been so grateful for the care they have provided, and their flexibility. There are several stand out teachers and staff that I adore and I never worry about him being well taken care of.
