This Bank of America branch is not too bad, the employees are pretty decent but they can definitely do a much better job, Fridays are the worse days to come here unless you have a lot of patience and time on your hands.

Awful experience from entry to exit. I first had to wait in a long line to talk with a teller, then was told to wait for another representative upfront, and finally spoke with a representative who gave me misleading information while trying to come up with excuses for me to use their app or call their customer service instead. That's why I'm in the branch! Complete lack of knowledge, care, trust, or even common decency. Bank of America isn't exactly known for great service to begin with, but this branch is among the worst I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Karen Spencer at your Friendship DC branch is the most knowledgeable banker I have ever met. With great skill and good humor, she has walked me through all I have needed to do after my husband died in November. Once again today she “came through” as I knew she would. I hope you value her as much as we, her customers, do.

Just had a superb experience at BOA on Wisconsin Ave/Friendship Heights. Called this morning to make an appt to do several things. The woman who took the call and manages the front of the bank (apologies I didn't get the name) was very pleasant and helpful and made me an appt for the same day. Karen Spencer, who was the bank officer who helped us, was wonderful - pleasant, efficient, professional, patient with all our questions. She also took the time to provide a lot of useful info to my son who is in his 20s - info that is esp useful to a young person just starting out. Also needed the services of the teller, who was likewise knowledgeable and pleasant. Could not have been a more pleasant experience.

As a preferred rewards member, this is one of the worst Bank of America experiences. I waited in line for 45 minutes for a money order. There was one teller working the window for at least 30 minutes while there were at least 5 reps working. Absolutely ridiculous..

They do not have good staff the first time I went there were like 3 cashiers and only 1 was attending there was a long waiting line that people started to leave it was the first time it looked bad ..

This review is for Bank of America nationwide. Bank of America cannot handle simple bank transactions such as deposits, cashing certified checks or bank to bank transfers without causing errors, delays and excuses for their inabilities to do the most simple things. Small banks across the nation do a better job by far. I would use a smaller FDIC BANK credit union or Chase. Avoid Bank of America like COVID. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY Over the years we have remained with BOA but kept other accounts open throughout moves and job changes in the case one failed us. Bank of America fails EVERY TIME. It's uncanny how the most simple things they can't handle. Enough. We are pulling all funds from them college funds and would have been investment and retirement funds. Glad we didn't do more business with them because we vetted who was more deserving. Bank of America failed and continues to utterly fail this customer and family. Buh bye
