LEX M Is the most helpful & sweet person. Truly helped me with a issue that hadn't been resolved even after getting on the phone & email with support. The problem was with accessing my store credit or gift card code. I contacted customer service several times & was put on a endless hold. Lex was the one person who took the time to help me. She also made me feel more relaxed after being overwhelmed for what felt like hours by being on hold /emails. She really went out of her way to help. & She was amazing! Thank youu so much!!

I initially tried making my order online, but for some reason it wouldn't ship to my state. I was getting frustrated, so I called the customer care number and spoke to Lex Moya out of Georgetown. She went out of her way to totally take care of me and placed my order. It went smoothly, without a hitch. Thank you Lex :)

Aminata was wonderful to speak to on the phone. They were very informative about all of my questions and then afterwards, was able to help me make my order over the phone. Super easy! And my products are coming in earlier than expected!

Purchased a mattress and had issues with fulfillment, so I called the Avocado Georgetown store and had the pleasure
of speaking with Alexa in sales.
Alexa was very attentive regarding my concerns and was able to resolve the problem with ease.
Alexa is very kind, knowledgeable, professional, and patient as I would definitely recommend her for the purchase of any product from Avocado.

AWFUL. Run away. After messing up our delivery, which I admit was not a great start but it was solvable. I have had nothing but backaches since using this mattress. I called them and said I think we got a lemon. Ours was/is misshapen and it hangs over our bed frame like a mast head on a boat. When they asked me to take yet another picture but this time with the mattress on the floor, I finally gave up. Who has enough room in their bedroom that they can put the bed on the floor for a photo without removing or taking apart their bed frame first. That is when I realized that they would do anything not to take their mattress back. I am ditching ng our Avocado mattress and going with Saatva.

Aminata Fofana was very helpful in selecting and ordering an Avocado mattress. I've been sleeping on many diffeerent mattresses during the past couple of months and hope that Avaocado meets my expectations.

Blanket quality was super low. For 200$ I expected more.
Another order Order #A974798 still in process for 2 weeks. Promise 7 days so I could do a birthday present but.. it’s not a present anymore.. customer support 0 out of 10. Left 3 messages but still no answer. Very disappointed with avocado brand ?

My friend ordered pillows in-store, and they are now 9 days late to arrive. Customer service has informed us that Avocado has not yet received the raw materials to make the pillows, much less start shipping them... Over $300 for two pillows, and she may not receive them for over a month. Avocado should have informed her of the materials shortages and delays when she ordered in-store.
I recommend only buying products that you can physically carry out of the store with you, otherwise it is more cost effective to order organic cotton online (2-3 day shipping) and sew your own pillows. (That is what we are doing now.)

Worst place on earth. The company is a nightmare and the sales people at the store are either misinformed or lying. Friend with brain cancer needed organic pillows and bedding and never received what she ordered IN STORE. Customer service called her Karen and asked her whether she even had brain cancer (?!) take your business elsewhere, these people have no empathy AND NO PRODUCTS! You can’t actually buy anything in the store! And anything you order, you won’t receive

The Avocado mattress tops the list of bad purchases. Like sleeping in a bowl. Purchased the mattress and base. Absolutely no support. It's difficult to put into words just how disappointing this mattress is. If you are near 200lbs do not get this mattress. Read the warranty really should have read it better myself.

My wife and I visited the Georgetown store on January 20. It’s accessible from M Street but the Cady’s Alley entrance takes you directly into the store. We scheduled an appointment and were met by Amina, our host. We were interested in testing the Avocado Green mattress that Consumer Reports (Feb 2023) rated as the best innerspring mattress on the market. Amina took us to a room with three different styles of mattress: basic (firmness 7), basic with two different type toppers (firmness 5-6), and basic with pillow top (firmness 5). Our host gave us a brief introduction and left us to our testing. With spa-like music playing in the background, we had full freedom to move back and forth from bed-to-bed-to-bed. The basic mattress was quite comfortable. I liked the idea that if I wanted a bit more softness on my side, I could later add a topper. Amina answered all our questions, AND there was no sales pressure. I cannot believe I’m saying this, but the experience was enjoyable. Two days later, we ordered the basic mattress with white-glove delivery service. It’s worth the drive into DC to test for yourself. Fortunately, there is a pay surface parking lot only a block away.

We had a fiberglass incident and had to replace all our mattresses. We bought SIX, I repeat….6 AVOCADO mattresses at once. Yeah you bet that bill hurt. But not nearly as much as our backs.Ok I bought the economy crib mattress. Dude that thing was SCARY. Unbelievably unsafe I’ll post pictures. I sent pictures and explained this to the company and they still insisted I donate it which felt so so wrong. We upgraded to the double sided crib. It’s so long literally no sheets fit it….nor does the $60 organic cotton crib pad I bought FROM avocado. She sleeps on a sheetless mattress. Also since we bought all our mattresses at once that’s literally the only one we are allowed to return.My 4 boys (8, 6, 4, 4) say they’re super uncomfortable. They have the economy twins. I didn’t find it bad but have t slept all night on one.So we bought the queen for us. Whatever the one tiny step up from economy was. Yes we rotate it all the time, etc. it literally had depressions or whatever in it within months. And it had these button things on the top of the mattress that are SO annoying. You can constantly feel them. The sides of our bed are painfully soft, the middle (useless, the beds for 2 people) is so hard you roll. It’s so depressing. It’s clearly not going to hold up.We spent a TON of money on 6 beds. I had to return the crib mattress at the expense of not being able to return our weird dented one because her safety was urgent. I was hoping we just got a weird lemon or something. But I know at the very least now, ours and this new crib mattress are bad too and we’re going to be out so much money.

Brandylynn at the Georgetown location is amazing! She is personable and knowledgeable. She helped pick out the perfect mattress. All of the mattresses are organic, super soft, and sustainable. Highly recommend going to try them out!
