BEWARE!!!!!This company makes returns very difficult. They hide information and don’t provide access to information required for returns.I will not buy from them again. There are plenty of great places to buy outdoor apparel and gear….ARCTERYX is NOT one of them

Don't come here looking for shoes and I would hesitate recommending making a special trip to look for much of anything. For the amount of money they must spend in rent, you would think a "flagship store" would have anything folks would want so they come in and spend their money. You know... to pay the rent... but not here. It was recommended that I shop on the website to find the current product I was looking for. They do have a live DJ and plenty of workers just standing around, so, "thank you for spending all that money online, now buzz off, we've got money to blow!!!" lol

Was in DC for a weekend trip from Toronto. Decided to walk over and see if they by chance had a couple rain jackets in stock. (Out of stock everywhere we had previously). By luck they had both jackets in stock and on sale. Outstanding service from the entire staff. One of the staff (John, maybe) took the time to explain care of the jackets. Which products to use and how to use them to maintain the water sealing. Couldn't be happier. Thanks!

Second time shopping here and the customer service is going down so quickly. The sales agents were chitchatting, didn’t offer any help. Can’t do this arrogant attitude, will go to Tysons store in the future.

No service at all, the worst shopping experience ever. Clerks are all chatting, nobody paid any attention to you, even when you purchase.

I always use Arcteryx website to make purchases but when I found out that Arcteryx had a location in Washington DC, I decided to go to the store to make a purchase. I called the store to ask if they did parking validation. The store rep (Mike) on the phone said "Yes, we do parking validation and please park in the city center garage on 11th and H" It was a Sunday so there was plenty of free parking on the street but I chose to park in the garage because the store rep said that parking will be validated. I went to the store and when I made the purchase, I asked my ticket to be validated. At first, the store rep said "Oh, we don't do complete validation, whatever the amount is we pay partial $13 and remaining covered by you" I have never in my life heard about partial parking validation. Then, few minutes later he was like "Well, today is some event going on so we can't validate". I was like well, take that dollar amount off the purchase or give me a store credit but he was like I can't do anything and then wrote the name of his manager (Justin Cooter) on my parking ticket. I ended up paying $20 for parking. Also, half of things weren't available in the store that I was looking for so yes, in terms of clothing collection also the store of deficient along with its poor customer service. Someone should reach out to Arcteryx corporate for this poor customer service and close this store. It is not about $20 but it is keeping your word with what you have told the customer. I'M NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS STORE AND WILL TELL OTHERS TO AVOID THIS STORE.

Tim provided one of the best in store experiences I have ever had, at any store! I went in only vaguely familiar with the brand and at the recommendation of my husband. Tim listened to what I was looking for and helped me find it! He took the time to show me little tips on each piece like adjusting the hood and different zipper functions. I am not only excited about my new jacket, but also about the brand, and shopping here again!

Had the good fortune of working with Tim from the Washington DC store. Tim helped repair & wash an old / absolutely destroyed Cerium Hoody insulated jacket that was used to train heavy, demanding working German Shepherds. It was in such rough shape that I thought it was lost for good. Tim was able to restore it, fix a few holes, and have it looking brand new through their washing service. So happy with the effort, comms, and just excitement to work on it. Its nice when those that 'hold the flag' for their company are really passionate / knowledgeable and give a great deal back to customers. Definitely recommend the Arc'teryx DC store for curiosities and questions on good gear, and don't hesitate to use their washing service. Legit the best service around.

Disappointed with the customer service. The store doesn't carry their latest collection and not all sizes. The lady who work there suggested I should try another Jacket as they all are similar fit. I kind of disagree with this. If i am paying high prices for these jackets, I wanted to make sure i try the same jacket before purchass. I already owned Arc'teryx jacket so i know my size. Will not suggest anyone to come to store and just purchase online. Big waste of time.

I came to buy a jacket for the winter today (12/14/22 around 3:30 pm). Although I love the clothes, I was super disappointed at the quality of service of every employee. I had to approach the employees for everything I needed, yet they were still unengaged to my requests. This was my first time coming and will probably be my last.

Arc’teryx is a Chinese company that uses slave labor for its goods. Uyghur Muslims are people and they deserve to be free. DON’T SUPPORT GENOCIDE

The service is nice but be careful about the price they charge. I just purchased a Beta Jacket today, MSRP is $350, with sales tax the price should be around $371. However, the store charged me $424. They told me this only happened today (I believe them), but please just double check the price when you still in the store, otherwise you may need to spend another 1 hour of your day to drive to the store to get the money back, just like me.
