Captain Levi cleaned my clothes immediately! In the meantime I met other people from Survrey Corpse.
Like Oluo, who is disliked by customers, Petra who, unlike Oluo, is liked by customers, Erd who is an expert in detergent and Ghunter who helps Erd with the washing machines then there is Eren, who has just taken over and is cleaning the floor often being scolded by Levi, Erwin, who often does "advertising" because he needs people in the army who dedicate their hearts and finally Hanji, who scares Oluo, Petra, Erd and Ghunter

I have been going for regular suits and shirts dry cleaning without any issues for 2 years. I don’t have anything super special and fancy so I cannot attest how these high end items get treated but your regular items so far so good.

I got 7 dressed hemmed here and it was so easy! Everything came back great. It was on the pricier side but they’re right by my apartment so you can’t beat the convenience.

Paid over $100 for dry cleaning and two blouses came back damaged and one appears not to have been cleaned at all. When I've had instances of stains or damage with other dry cleaners, they've at least said something and apologized at pick up, but nothing from this place. Do not recommend.

This dry cleaner damaged an expensive dress during alterations, charged $85 for a straight hem on a formal dress that they returned unpressed, and refused to refund my money. Do not use this dry cleaner.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I brought Ackerman's two expensive designer leather coats, including one with a fur trim. I specifically asked if they were sending the coats out, and they confirmed that they did work with a specialty cleaner for furs and leather. They also advertise in the store that they clean leather.The jackets were returned to me completely destroyed. The fur cuffs and trim were literally hanging in tatters, as if they'd been put through a shredder. It was absurdly comical that a cleaner would tear apart a garment, put it in a bag, and return it to the customer. The other jacket had decorative pieces which were broken and snapped off.I brought the coats back to the Ackerman's to show them the damage, and they were also shocked. However, when asked about how I would be compensated, I was told that the specialty cleaner had returned to Korea and was not reachable...?? It turns out they sent the coats to a nondescript place in Arlington. It was a hole in the wall without any expertise in leather or furs. They lied, refused to compensate me and kept my damaged coats. This happened just as the pandemic was starting, otherwise I would have sued them.I should note that before this, I had patronized Ackerman's on-and-off for many years. The service was never exceptional, and I had many issues with missing belts, stains, etc. But this was the last straw.Horrifying experience and customer service. GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CLOTHES!!!Services: Leather & suede cleaning

Took in 3 dress shirts for dry cleaning, 10+ bucks a pop, none of the shirts were actually cleaned. Go somewhere else in Adams Morgan.

Ackerman's cleaners were always incredibly helpful, offering to do my cleaning over if it wasn't to my satisfaction and correcting any mistakes without being prompted. Also, Benji the dog is the cutest mascot of any dry cleaners I've ever seen. I totally recommend coming here for your dry cleaning!

I love Ackerman’s dry cleaner! They are friendly, affordable, and always take good care of my clothes. They also have a VERY cute dog who is there sometimes ?
