7/11 in NoMa Review: Declining Convenience
The 7/11 in NoMa has seen better days. There's usually some riff-raff in the area, and the shelves aren't fully stocked anymore. Additionally, the hours have changed from late-night to around 11 PM, which was previously their greatest strength. It's become less convenient than it used to be. Good if you want a drink or slushy.

Totally disagree with the extremely low cumulative score. This 7-Eleven was outstanding. The service could not have been more friendly, and the other customers were even friendly. They had what I wanted, in and out fast. Very convenient to the courtyard Marriott hotel and the noma galileadet metro station. The store is bright and clean and open. The food, well I got two kit Kat bars.

When I tried to load cash onto my cash app card the cashier specifically told me that their establishment did not load cash onto cash app cards they only load cash onto chime card and when I talked to the people at cash app customer service the representative told me that they do provide that service and that I should have been able to load my card there I was not able to load my cash app card at any 711 I feel that I was being discriminated against by the foreigners that work there they have a malicious animosity towards local black men in this area and they mistreat us at any chance try get

Walked in for a cup of coffee and I was shocked to see that the store has empty shelves, no inventory. You have to request a cup for your coffee from behind the counter. The woman behind the register insisted that I pay with cash. I only had a $50 bill and she couldn’t make change for me. Why would you pressure your customers to pay in cash when you don’t even have enough in the register? Terrible location. Terrible service. Won’t be shocked if this store goes out of business soon.

Refused to allow me to use the bathroom and I really needed to go! Was willing to buy something but I believe the cashier was being racist because she was looking at me weird the moment I came in... So shameful

Best customer service I've ever had at a 7-11. They said they had a bad reputation in the past and they're working hard to change that, and it shows.

CORRECT YOUR HOURS. Do not respond that "Your local 7-Eleven store understands the frustration..." Simply change the hours on Google Maps to what the sign says which is posted on the door EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. Stop abusing your customers and wasting their time. AWFUL 7-11 location; no respect for their patrons.

They're open from 7am-10:45 PM. I thought 7-Elevens were 24 hrs. Pretty disappointing especially with it being one of the few ones in the city.

I work in one of the many government buildings near this store so it’s supposed to be convenient for a morning coffee run and snacks. However we are treated like thieves here as we have to ask for a coffee cup from the staff. The coffee area is not well stocked with a variety of creams and sugars. Often times the male staff of the store follows customers around. On 3/29/23 while in the store I used points to buy my coffee and the cashier still attempted to have me pay even after showing the receipt that said points were used. This store charges double the Dc bag tax daily. If things aren’t going to change we will have an internal memo for our agencies to not use this store any longer.
