Talk about a hidden gem. If you are a wine lover, and enjoy the art of wine making, you will appreciate this winery. A small barn with historic art and artifacts, Italian classical music and a well versed couple of winemakers make this place a must visit location. The red blend is like tasting a cold fall night or Christmas evening in a cup. The wines are perfected to their highest potential and blends extenuate the best qualities of their varietals. A must visit in any wine tour of CT.

Nice place to stop for a sampling of their wines. Friendly owner made us feel very welcome - he is very knowledgeable in the art of wine making.

A beautiful afternoon with nice wine and cheese. Views that are reminiscent of Napa and Europe.

Best wine in Connecticut. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Small tasting room area but lots of spots on the grounds to set up your own private area

Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon here with my son on a Sunday. We each had a flight on 5 wines. We liked them all except the last red, maybe Marquette. There was a guy playing guitar who sounded good. Nice grassy area to sit on or walk around. Owners are gracious.

James and Elizabeth were so welcoming. James showed us a book of photos from their harvest in September and sat down at our table for a chat about their vineyard. You can stroll around the grounds. Beautiful spot.

Laughing at the review that mentioned "three x on bottle means the owner thinks it's bad" (if a winery sells you something you feel might be problematic, speak to the vintner!)That's the BLEND... 30th blend! Their wine is terrific!Current fave is the Rosalie rosé.

Five stars for the wine tasting experience. Really enjoyed the flights. But subtracting three stars because we bought two bottles of the Walker Road Red Table WIne to bring home and it is awful. Pretty sure it has turned. And pretty sure the proprietor knew she was selling us some bad wine. Why else would the marks X.X.X. ! ! be on the bottle? Taster enjoy; buyer beware.

I and my sister and brother-in-law have visited Walker Road on numerous occasions, at least a dozen times. Our group always purchases at least 3 bottles of wine and have enjoyed the views overlooking the vineyard and distant hills. In a somewhat shocking and off putting incident today, upon our arrival, the owner’s wife informed us that in an hour a guitar player would be starting and we might be asked to leave if the place gets too crowded! We are a group of mature, non-rowdy folks in our 60’s and 70’s. We are the sort of clientele you would think would be welcome with open arms.As is our custom, we set up ‘camp’ on the lower deck and enjoyed the appetizers and, over the course of 3 hours, 3 bottles of wine. One of our party, as we readied to leave, asked the owner’s wife why would we be asked to leave, reminding her that we have been good customers. Her retort was, ‘we have lots of good customers.’We were all highly disappointed by this inhospitable treatment. Maybe she was just having a bad day. If that’s the case she should stay home.
