Really disappointed in the Woodbury branch. They used to bend over backwards to make customers happy. Now they don’t want anything to do with customers. We have multiple accounts there and each kid got their own account when they started high school so they could save and manage their own money. Took my daughter there today. She was so excited to open her account. They told me you have to make an appointment to open an account and there are no appointments until next week. Huh? You go in a bank and open accounts. That’s what you do there. There were at least 5-6 staff there with only one customer. Totally ridiculous. I was put off to the point I just went down the street to a different bank. Walked in, teller took us immediately and 10 min later she had her account and we were on our way.

These bankers/tellers went above and beyond to complete an important transaction that the Seymour branch set up for failure. They were polite, helpful, creative, even sacrificed a lunch break due to the fact that I had 1 hour of travel time to get there. I will be switching all accounts from Wells Fargo to TD based on their service and expertise, friendliness and professionalism.

Not sure what happened to this branch, possibly it was just a case of few new employees. I have my business account with TD and been dealing with Woodbury branch ever since they closed my local branch in Middlebury in April. On Tuesday November 9th my husband brought deposit to the branch. He was told by one of the tellers that check made to insurance company we represent cannot be cashed since it was not in my name. My account was set up so I can accept premium payments company’s client are making in my office. For the last 6 years we never had any problems depositing checks made to insurance company directly. Again this is how the account was set up. After almost 20 minutes of waiting and teller checking with a manager my husband was told they would not accept the check. He then drove right to Watertown branch where they accepted the same check and he was in and out in a few minutes. I would not be returning to Woodbury branch since I don’t have time to waste arguing with tellers over a check.

We opened our accounts and have banked at the Woodbury, CT location since moving to Woodbury in 2017. This branch has been both super helpful and extremely friendly. We have had several small home improvement loans here and all were handled very professional and quick. We also have a condo at Miami Beach, FL and the TD branches there are just as helpful and friendly. I rarely use the drive thru because I really enjoy going inside to socialize with the staff and have ALWAYS, ALWAYS left with a smile and feel like valued customers and friends. It's really nice to walk into a business and be greeted/called by your first name as soon as you walk in the front door. I'd highly recommend you give TD Bank a try especially the Woodbury location if you are looking for a financial institution to do business and build a relationship.

Decent branch however they seem to be astonished/shocked when you want to take out large sums of cash. I was asked "well can't you pay the guy some other way like a bank check" which I found to be rather unprofessional. I quickly called the Torrington branch (thank you Nicole) who ordered the cash for me. Staff in Woodbury need to realize that people are going to switch branches/banks if getting access to cash is a burden.

I recently opened a checking account to attach to my savings. I received my debt card and called in to 888-751-9000 to activate it. The rep I spoke to Michael out of Maine was extremely rude and condescending. He kept telling me my card was activated but I never called it in then he assumed I that I would know that by completing transfers online it would automatically activate my card. Not too sure how I would know that! Then I asked how do I get my pin he yelled and said "Priscilla just go into the branch and tell them you forgot it" - again, I advised I didn't forget it I just never received it. He then said "Priscilla just go into a branch" - his tone was not friendly by any means. I then ask to speak to his manager. He then puts me on hold without notice and I waited over 10 minutes with no check-in to advise someone will be right with me. I finally got to speak to a manager and they advised that they will review the call. That call took a total of 27 minutes! TD Bank needs to train their employees!!! I am extremely unsatisfied and this is sad seeing that you guys are open 7 days a week. This is a true example of quantity verses quality!!

Not a fan of this new location it is a much further drive than the Southbury location. It seems like the building is newer but the drive thru is not easy to use. there is a screen so you can see in the bank because the teller lane is not connected to the bank however it is very hard to see the teller inside via this screen as well as hear them. It feels like it takes them longer to help the drive thru customers than at the other location. I used to not mind running to the bank but after coming here a couple times I'm seriously considering a different branch if one is available or switching banks all together

I was so stressed today as I was locked out of my online banking account (my mistake wrong security information) I am a small bs owner and was in a hurray to rectify this situation. I arrived in this branch in a horrible mood (I do apologize) but Lucas assured me that he would take care of the situation immediately. His professionalism and ability to fix my problem quickly was very impressive. I then had Michelle help me with my company visa. Michelle went above and beyond. I cant tell how much I appreciate the staff!!! I remembered today why I will always be a TD customer - fast, efficient, caring professional staff who always have my back!!!
