“I just want to give a HUGE thank-you for the gracious Post Lady that stopped to help me use her phone to call 911. I had just arrived from Florida and was taking care of my son’s dogs and house when I locked myself out of the house. I only had pajamas on and had been outside for over 2 hours in the cold, She was so kind- stayed there until I talked to the police officer who then was able to contact my son working in NY. “I see a lot of bad reviews so I wanted to leave my own for a change of perspective ! I use this post office all the time and i haven't ever had an issue. I went in there this morning and the man that's always there in the morning (wish I thought to ask for his name ) was so incredibly helpful. I was trying to track down a package I mailed 2 weeks ago that appeared to have been lost based on the tracking. He searched the system every way he could and despite me giving him all of the wrong info (I had the date and time wrong AND the person who had helped me that day wrong - I confused it with another day that I shipped a package) he was so patient and kind and he solved the mystery . He found the transaction and gave me plenty of proof that it was actually delivered last week despite the recipient not verifying that it was. He was the only one there and had other customers that he bounced back and forth between me and helping them and was still smiling and kind with us all. I would have lost patience with me if I were him lol!

“While I have always had good service at the Watertown, CT post office, I have had some problems trying to call the postal employees there. No one ever answers the phone! I wanted to ask them to hold my mail for me, because my mailbox was crushed by a falling tree during the last storm. I am having a mobility problem, and was hoping I didn't have to go into the post office myself. Guess I have to now.”

“Went to this location for the first time on Monday just before 4:30. I needed to buy stamps for 170 holiday cards, get them stamped and sent. Not only was the gentleman behind the counter that I worked with super nice, but even the other two that were at the service windows were very friendly with all the customers. Miraculously, I was able to stamp all of my pieces with one minute to spare before they closed. What's really nice is that they didn't try to rush me at all. Totally cool. I would definitely recommend using this USPS location.”

“first of all, I sent my package through the post office that was supposed to go to FedEx Angie. The postmaster not only helped me with my issue. She followed up again and again and guided me through how to find if the package had been delivered without Angie, I don’t know if I would have found my package. Angie is the bomb.”
