Beautiful display of antiques in a beautiful historic house. So many pieces with such interesting history. Really loved the set up to walk from room to room and then out the rear of the house towards the old barn. The family is super friendly and personable and we enjoyed talking with mother and daughter about their experiences in the house and the many interesting things they found from previous owners. Definitely worth a stop!

I love popping by this shop whenever I come to CT to visit family. The selection is always eclectic and the price are fair. I love wandering about the many rooms and seeing the amazing pieces. The owner is a wonderful, warm woman who is knowledgeable about the pieces in her shop and you walk with a little nice story about whatever you buy.

Looked for colonial era paintings and Antiquities. When I saw this servers bowl made for emperor napoleon and now will have it in my office in New York. Excellent purchase and happy with the display.

Love this shop!!! One of the nicest, most beautiful antique shops I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot!). I've now bought a few pieces (paintings and furniture) and found the prices to be very reasonable, and the owner is a delight!!

The owner is lovely woman who will assist you with any item in the store. However, prices are very high, and I have purchased a few items which did not have the provenance depicted.

I have spent many years scouring the country for antiques and without a doubt this antique store is one of the best. The artwork is amazing, although it also specializes in fine porcelains, older (not reproductions!) furniture and interesting knick-knacks that will provide conversation starters for years to come. Without a doubt, whenever I go back to the East Coast, I make sure I make time for Madeline West Antiques!
