“Great store! Super friendly staff in all departments. Their veggies are fresh, baked goods, especially their Carrot Cake, is terrific. And with the Big Y card, there are some discounts to be had.”
“I love Labonne's. They took over a small store, Oliver's that was here for a very long time. They did some upgrades and introduced a variety of new products. While it is costly, the cost is expected for a smaller store chain. They usually have baggers and there's someone that will help you if you need help to your car. Customer service is perfect, even from the high schoolers that work there. I wish they had more of a cake selection or rotated out what they offer. I miss their sushi.”
“Aldi's has a brand, LiveGFree, which is gluten free products. They are outstanding! The bread is fabulous! Pasta is great! LiveGfree chicken nuggets are fabulous! Prices are wonderful! Their other products are great when available. They used to have LiveGfree wraps (which were outstanding!) but they no longer stock them. One time I bought LiveGfree cheese ravioli but they haven't had it in stock since. Same thing for the LiveGfree donuts. My one request (hope) is that they stock MORE of these products on a regular basis! Many people are gluten free for medical reasons too. Can't beat their prices!

“I think that Big Y can do better in motivating their employees, while the company certainly has some good employees, sometimes when asking for assistance I don't feel that employees reluctantly offer it, especially if it's not their area of work. Employees should take responsibility and have a sense of pride. I admire sustainable efforts such as waterless urinals ,buying from local farmers and energy etc. The store is clean, stock and has enough staff to ensure a smooth process.
To get the best savings sign up online or speak to an employee about getting your own Big Y card which will give you coupons from the manufacturer and the store like $10 off $50.”

“Have been going to this store for many years. Saved me a ton of $ feeding several growing boys. Now I shop there for clean organic foods. Always Great prices. Any other store it would be double. Enjoy shopping there during holidays they get in a nice selection of unique holiday foods. Have also used both delivery and pick up options. Never any issues. Highly recommended!”
“Great little marketplace to pick up items for home. This store should really only be used to pick up a few things here and there. Definitely wouldn’t fill the cart here, prices are higher than anywhere else in southington.”

“I have to get meds for my dog. I was getting them at CVS using GoodRX gold. Then I checked this pharmacy and am saving a lot of money over CVS prices. The pharmacist was so good at helping me set up the transfers and telling me expected costs. Won't go anywhere else from now on.”
“The employees were very friendly and have a great sense of humor the store was very neat and clean the grocery store is small like a typical neighborhood grocery store the meat prices are a little high but the quality makes up for it and they do have a variety of meats but a very nice and clean atmosphere and friendly employees as well .”

“I recently lost my Aunt and went to Price Chopper to get flowers to make my own arrangement for the funeral. While we were there we noticed how gorgeous the arrangements Nadia had made were. We purchased two right out of the cooler. The third one I picked out the flowers for it and went to lunch. When I arrived back the one she made for me was just as beautiful as the two from the cooler. How fortunate Price Chopper is to have someone as talented as Nadia. She has restored my faith in grocery store floral arrangements. Again thank you for all your help during a difficult time and look forward to working with you again.”
“Great store there are not many small stores like this left there used to be an IGA in winsted it's gone now. The produce was very good the rest of the products were good and all the staff was very nice and helpful. It was quite a change and reminds me of how it used to be when there was more smaller stores like. It would be nice if more small markets like this come back. It seems like the employees are happier and the food is definitely fresher and better quality.”
“Well there's no doubt it's very expensive. BUT they have the best rotisserie chickens there. Two different sizes. Perfectly cooked and juicy. The have a good selection of grocerie products.... But again, they're more expensive then say price chopper. Staff is ok, not overly friendly but not totally rude. They're just doing they're jobs. Not much personalbilty. Store is pretty clean, but dated.”

“I used the self checkout this morning at around 8:15. I had no problems/issues. There was a woman, however, checking out opposite me. She didn't know what she was doing, constantly yelling at the associate for help. Grumbling, yelling, using foul language (with her children/grandchildren standing beside her) complaining constantly. The associate, whose name I do not know, was pleasant, helpful and courteous. Never once did she raise her voice or lose her temper. She actually smiled and told the miserable woman to have a great day!! THAT is exceptional customer service and this kind woman deserves to be recognized for it.”
