I've been coming to this store since I was 9 I'm now 25 and still go there as much as my wallet allows Richard is very nice fair and astute with his grading I wouldn't go anywhere else to continue building my collection.

I've been to other coin dealers and left quickly because of high prices, bad attitudes and unkept or clumsy looking stock, but this place was wonderful! Richard was friendly and professional. I could have stayed there all day. He has a great selection of everything, very organized and the prices are the same OR BETTER than online. He belongs to the PNG (Professional Numismatists Guild). Whether you're a first timer or been around, do your homework, but definitely stop by, it'll be worth it!

Great coin and antique shop. Has good buy and sell prices on all bullion bars, coins and constitutional money. Nice collection of sterling silver, cut glass, antiques. Sells silver and gold of all types, old paper dollars, collector supplies like flips, capsules, etc. Friendly, fair, service. Stuck in the 70's, but some people like that!!?

I've found Richard to be a straight forward and knowledgeable dealer. He's a PNG member dealer and has both precious metals and rare coins as well as old currency.

geez , that guy John S wasn't too happy ....lol ......guess he shouldn't have sold his memories ....and the $5000 value , is how much it would be to replace (retail) not its actual value .....besides my uncle Richie has been doing this for a LOOOOg time, and i'm sure he gave you a fair price .....

Love this little store. If you desire some antiques or view some nice old sterling and jewelery for sale at decent prices...this place is for you. He also has plenty of junk silver. The only thing that isn't too competitive is the Eagle and stuff like that. Not his fault he charges sales tax and the internet doesn't. I still buy them, because supporting a nice business like this is more important than sticking the lowest dollar on the buy side. But he does have nice stuff. Worthy of a visit. Deals to be found. Sometimes I will feel I overpaid by eight bucks on my coin purchases but saved 80 bucks on my sterling or 14K purchases. Shop here at least once a year due to travel distance. There is a nice lake to visit and few other shops and eateries nearby. Right on the trial to Riverton or Great Barrington. The guy is a gentleman, but like all of them, in this business, they want cash but pay you by check. That is another reason I don't beef about slightly high coin prices, he does purchase at a fair price. His margins are pretty razor thin and he is more than fair, especially for established coinage and known commodity.

If you want to deal with a miserable person then this is where you want to go. Went looking to purchase a ring back from this person and when he told me it was sold for scrap I asked about the diamonds. He said it was a small diamond and there was no way for him to recall what happened to it. I dont consider a 1.25 carret $5000.00 diamond a small diamond.
