I've been going since I was a kid. I have always been treated compassionately and have no complaints with their staff or goods.

Will not be back. Rude employees who shoved us out and locked the door before they closed at 4. I understand they are volunteers but you have to be nice and not loudly sigh and give customers a countdown to close

Showed up at 3:50 to a locked door and being told they're closed even though the signs states 4:00 PM

What a FIND!! "Gem" for the area! Store is clean, well organized and a varied selection for everyone. Prices are extremely fair...and I stopped in from NH. Staff are the most pleasant and helpful anywhere! Especially, Inez Hazen.?

There's always a unique find here, especially if you're looking for something timeless! From clothing to purses, shoes, bedding, appliances, and more, this store can be a treasure trove for many looking for a good deal, a hard-to-find item, or both! The store is small, quiet, and had a great selection with rotating stock!Overall, this store is clean, quiet, the staff are polite & knowledgeable, and everything is fairly priced! Sales happen frequently, as does merchandise rotation, so check back often!

I have lived and shopped in this area for over 30 years and actually find them to be less expensive than other local places. I have purchased many collectable vintage/antique treasures that I could sell for at 75% above what I paid for them. These elderly ladies have seen a lot in their life; and no they don't have a lot of patience for this younger generation that demand to be treated like royalty. They are volunteers raising funds for the community and deserve credit for getting out and working at retirement age. You treat them respectfully and you will get it in return. Yes; they only take cash.... but they will hold your items so that you can go get cash if you don't happen to have any with you. My only complaint would be that because its volunteer; sometimes its hard with my schedule to get there when they are open. I hope they stay open for years to come! Thank you ladies for your continued help and commitment to the community!!!

I love this place and I'm a little confused as to why there are so many negative reviews. The items in the store are ALWAYS clean and in, usually, excellent condition. This store is manned by senior citizen volunteers (I believe they are but it's basically irrelevant to me if they get paid) and the money raised benefits the community. With that in mind, there isn't much left to complain about, is there? Oh wait, those not happy with the service? Well, again, they are volunteers and not for nothing, getting old isn't for sissies. But you'll find that out one day. They are working at an age when most are retired. They've seen a lot in their lives, hence the skepticism, and maybe working in a store is a little more difficult for them than someone younger. I myself have never had an issue with anyone there. Is a little extra effort required, perhaps. Not for me, but perhaps for others? I am happily greeted when I come in. Pleasantries are exchanged. I respect their life experience and their service to the community. I have never had an issue with anyone here not being pleasant. I do feel that the reviews stating that there were rude employees has been taken to heart, deeply. You can see that those that maybe aren't quite as outgoing are going above and beyond to rectify that. I think those people maybe didn't make a big fuss when a customer walked in but were perfectly pleasant and professional when engaged. When I walk in, I get greeted very warmly and I do love that. Not a requirement, but really great. I really like the people that work here. As far as people saying prices are high. I don't get that either. Are they trying to keep up with current trends and pricing. Yup. It's a business folks. I haven't had anything "new" in years and really appreciate and depend on places like this. And sometimes, a $2 item you found there and needed but couldn't afford new, is a great pick me up. Combine that with the sense of community enrichment on many levels and I'm a happy camper. In my mind, you can see their commitment to the community in the cleanliness and order throughout the store. And, in my case, how they treat me. So, please, try shopping here again. Support the community, even if it's not your own. You are supporting those that need to shop at places like this, too. They are making the effort, so I bet if you do too, you won't be sorry. I value the sense of community there above all else and I feel they can be their best when we try to be at our best.

Cash only—-but not a sign in the store or on the door saying so. No $20 bills for small orders. No receipts (!). Wildly overpriced merchandise. It’s not worth the inconvenience with so many other, more accommodating and friendly thrift stores in the area.

I like some of the stuff they have here. Some good prices and some overpriced. Most of the employees here are very rude. They act like you are an inconvenience. They also act like you're going to steal something. I have bought here many times and they still follow me around and when I want to see something in the case they have to grab it out for me and let me look at one thing at a time and once again act like I'm going to steal. Not a very welcoming place at all. I'm debating never going there again but I want to help the cause. I like the other Thrift shop in town better. A lot nicer people.
