parking lot was huge alot of different trails. only problem is could be explained more with a map. when you get to the parking lot go across the soccer field their is a trail into the woods and a lot more. A little confusing at one intersection saying boat launch and a bunch of other abbreviations. I did the purple and black trail that's on the other other side past the nature center and garden then go across and their is a blue and a white blaze. yes even has a bathroom . sure its great for the kids as well. I did see a few runners so that's a good thing. oh yes its very muddy and bugs of course

Dont really care for nature to be honest..but the place is beautiful. My mother likes to see the deers everytime she walks her doggos
Restrooms: Restrooms are always available
Dog-friendliness: Plenty of trails to walk on.
Picnic area: There are three or four of them under pavaillions. Plenty of space for parties

Quality of animal care and treatment during these insanely humid days is sub par at best. One tub of stagnant water staged in a high sun area does the animals in this park an insult more than a kindness. Please do better for their sake.

Amazing park. Plenty of hiking trails, places to walk and things to do. Even a fee museums and animals here! Also a good size dog park!
Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly. Two parks next to each other. One for small dogs and one for big dogs.

Great place for a walk on the trails, picnic, or just hanging out with the barn animals. Small nature center worth the time to check out. Very well taken care of public park.

The park is truly remarkable, offering a plethora of activities and attractions that cater to the interests of all visitors, including a charming animal barn. The two magnificent pavilions are complemented by the exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff, ensuring a delightful experience for everyone.
Playground: Great for the little ones
Restrooms: Very clean
Picnic area: Grills are available, and the area is equipped with an ample supply of trash barrels and trash bags, as well as a generous number of picnic tables, serving tables, and seating for your convenience.

Beautiful park! Pond has lots of wild life like fishes, turtles and frogs! Al the areas are well kept. The nature center is informative and kids friendly!

Expansive park with athletic facilities, a museum, educational displays, farm animals, historic tobacco barns, picnic areas and trails that provide access to woodlands and meadows. The constant air traffic going in and out of Bradley Airport can be distracting but Northwest Park is a community treasure with a little something for everyone.

Absolutely amazing park! It has a pond full of fish, a barn area full of different animals, soccer fields, playgrounds, hiking trails and a nature lodge! And that's not even the half of it. The best park I have ever been to, by far.
