Our dog had an emergency wound on a Friday evening and they were able to get us in as we called while already in route. Got us taken care of in a reasonable amount of time for not an exorbitant cost.

They took amazing care of my puppy when he got pneumonia and then the next week when he had an intestinal blockage. We're very compassionate and thorough. And update from the initial review, these guys spent the first six months of our puppies life getting to know him and his big sister in what felt like the year of dog disease ? these folks are absolutely amazing, while they are pricey, if we lived closer they probably would have become our regular vet as well, but they're the only emergency vet I trust. Thankfully we haven't had to make that trip in some months now, but I will never forget the hours spent in their parking lot, terrified what would happen next to my beloved babes, but being confident if anyone would make sure they survived it would be them.

Went to the emergency room twice. Once for my dog and the other time to bring my neighbor and his dog. Staff are amazing!! Prices are decent. I am from Springfield, Massachusetts, and I recommend all to go there for emergencies. I am also looking into their dental as well. My neighbor had to put his dog to sleep, and the doctor and staff were amazing with us. They also do cremation.

So glad to have them in times of need. Costly, but a necessary expense when the furry companions are not well.

Compared to other emergency care providers best price and service! They offer care without prior appointments. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt good about them taking care of my dog with an ear infection. He is not the easiest one to deal with but they did amazing.Usually at the vet in with him when he is getting treatment, but here I was waiting in the room for him to be done which was a little bit odd at first. If needed in future I'll definitely bring him back there!

Brought our pitbull rescue there for a tail wound from his licking and biting it. They were great to Ambrose. They helped us make sure he had antibiotics and a steroid to help with his pain. They were very cooperative and willing to get him in there asap for an emergency visit. Super glad to have this vet in CT!

Dr. Okeefe, who's never able to suggest a path forward for our dog's cancer care as everything seems to be an unknown for her, has finally confirmed her unprofessionalism by stating she wouldn't scan our entire dog in a CT scan prior to a surgical appointment while also admitting that her version of the scan (an incomplete one) wouldn't be sufficient. After that absurdity, along with her hissy attitude, we'll no longer be pouring tons of money toward her services. Avoid her at all costs if you care about your pet.

One of my dogs lost a battle with her brother over a toy. I called the emergency vet & was taken right away. The wound wasn't as bad as it appeared, but she still needed medication. Dr. Morales & his staff were fantastic. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely appalling. Dr. Okeefe's professionalism is severely lacking. Despite months of treating my dog for what she initially diagnosed as a lung tumor, it turned out the tumor was on her ribs. She proposed a surgical option, and after consulting the surgeon, she left me a voicemail from her personal phone. Unaware it was her personal number, I called back and she angrily scolded me, insisting I never call her phone again. When I suggested she use the hospital phone for future communication, she again yelled, claiming she could call from any number she pleased (while simultaneously dictating which numbers I should call). This behavior is shockingly unprofessional, especially considering she initially contacted me from that very number and I've invested thousands of dollars at her hospital to address her misdiagnosis.Furthermore, she struggles to recommend a consistent treatment plan, frequently contradicts herself, and displays a disinterest in genuinely helping both the pet and the owner. Her terrible attitude and misdiagnoses make it clear that seeking care elsewhere is in the best interest of your pet. This "doctor" should be deeply ashamed of her conduct.

My sister brought her dog her recently because she was having hindend weakness. As a vet tech myself when she told me about her experience there I was shocked she told me that they were complaining about the new VESH in West Springfield sending a lot of clients to them which I get can be frustrating but they are thinking about the patients and their wait time plus being understaffed themselves, why make a client wait if they can be seen sooner somewhere else. I told her she should get xrays done maybe even bloodwork, my sister didn't care about the cost just wanted to make sure her dog was taken care of. They told her xrays weren't necessary since she didn't react to the stretches they did and just sent her home with way too much gabapentin for a dog her size that her actually vet told her to cut the dose in half because it was too much for her. That was about a week or 2 ago. My sister's dog who would've been 4 years old next month passed away overnight unexpectedly. If they had done something, anything maybe she'd still be here or maybe my sister could've been more prepared.
