I would NOT BUY anything onlIne unless you can inspect in-person PRIOR to bidding. My opinion is that they are greedy and deceptive. We bought a lot of 53 pieces of Waterford Crystal glassware and all of the pictures on the listing were of the pieces that were in good condition. When we received the order more than 20 pieces had chips in the rims so they cannot be used and will just be recycled. We tried multiple times to resolve this for a partial refund but they refused. We asked LiveAuctioneers for help and Nadeau reponded to them with false statements.

I recently posted a one star review because we thought we were being hung up on. After looking at our phone we noticed our microphone was not on. Sorry this was our fault. When we were able to get a hold of the auction they were very understanding ect. Sorry for the confusion on our end.

First time buyer from them and I am very pleased with the item I have purchased. They were very prompt with a few concerns I had and the great customer service I received resolved my issues to my satisfaction. In the age of online purchasing , Prompt & Great reply & customer service is the Key for any buyer. So, I give them an A+ all the way for their prompt handling my issues and will shop with them again .

I have been both a consignor and buyer at Nadeau's Auction Gallery. Both types of experiences have been extremely positive and satisfying. I highly recommend them if you have valuable items to sell, or if you are looking to buy. It is a well-run, family business, with a friendly, professional staff. Another important consideration is they are honest, and you can feel confident in doing business with them.Attending their auctions is enjoyable because they post photos and descriptions on their website ahead of time, and provide several options for previewing the items in person. They have a wide range and selection, and hold several auctions a year. I feel fortunate that we have such a prestigious auction house in Connecticut.

I had the best customer service from Stephanie K and Gina G at last Saturday's auction. Both of them were model office personnel: extremely helpful, polite, patient, willing to go the extra mile, etc. Totally awesome experience. Thank you.

More than happy to expand on my review and the reason I did not leave a one star review for my shipper. You had my invoice and could have easily given him a box with a pair of lamps considering that they were using a dedicated truck to move the Steinway piano I purchased. It is not true that they would not take them as you now claim. I returned your phone call within 5 minutes yesterday - so you could have easily called me about the same items earlier and received the same response. I've never been charged for storage by an auction house and yes I might have paid a reasonable fee to store one pair of lamps. But, no I am not going to pay $600 . So enjoy the additional profits from re-selling the lamps which I paid you around $1,700. . I would have thought after purchasing a piano for around $20,000 I would have been a more valued customer.
