“We have moved many times and have never had a better moving experience than with College Hunks. Our team for a two-day out-of-state move included Luis, Ray, Miguel, Steve, Logan and Matt. The care they took in protecting our belongings on both ends of the trip was outstanding, and every item was delivered in perfect condition. Each of these gentlemen was a pleasure to work with, and Sara and Monique provided excellent support. We could not think of anything they could have done better. The pricing was also very fair. Highly recommend!”

“I had to move my mom out of her apartment because she was very ill. It was a spur of the moment decision to hire a moving company. So I did what we all do - we search on google until we find a place that has good reviews. Bert’s was the first to come up in my search. By reading what other people had said about them it made me reach out and schedule a date. The scheduling was super easy. I gave a list of items and, Idona the scheduler, gave me an estimated cost which came in way under. On moving day the movers that came were prompt and super nice. I had lost my mom the day before so moving her things out of her place wasn’t easy. There was a small entertainment center that I couldn’t bring to my house so I was going to donate it. They put it in my car for me. Once we got to my home they asked me where everything was to go. They set it all up and asked if it was ok and if I was happy the way things looked. They even asked me if I wanted them to move the existing furniture in my home back to the way it was. They were super careful and they didn’t damage one thing. I have used other companies before and I have ended up with busted tv’s, sofas, mirrors etc. Not once did those companies ever refund me any money or even so much an apology. If I ever need to move again I would definitely use Bert’s. I want to thank the men that came out that day personally and I’m so sorry I can’t remember your names. It was an incredibly emotional time for me. You made a really hard day go very smoothly for me and I’m so sorry it was like one of the hottest days of the summer! Thank you again for your kindness and helpfulness.

“I am so glad we used Heavy Foot Movers! Joe and his crew did an wonderful job on both ends. It was incredible how he was able to fit all our stuff into one truck; everything made it to our new house safely without damage, seriously the packing skills were awesome! They were fast, friendly, and amazing!We had originally planned on using a container moving company and just hiring for a couple hours to load it up. The containers didn't work out (the day they were scheduled to be dropped off we were told it was no longer happening). Joe saved the day! It went from just a local CT loading job to Joe moving us all the way to OH himself! I cannot recommend him enough! When everything fell apart he saved us. I honestly don't know what we would have done without him.This move had been a bit of a nightmare, everything that could go wrong was and then there was Joe! I feel like he went above and beyond and I will be forever grateful. He really did save the day. Thank you!”

In our specific situation, the loading and unloading is the least stressful part of the moving process, so having a trailer dropped off to our home is just right. “My UHaul canceled the night before my move and I called Keith and had a pickup time, insurance, and contract for a reasonable price signed in less than 90 minutes for a NEXT DAY cross state move. The crew at AllardSend saved the day. Armad and Ahmed worked extremely hard, were punctual and never took a second to complain about the heat. For the price point, these guys delivered beyond what I expected. Based on reading some yelp reviews on these guys, people expect all their furniture to be bubble wrapped and transported with white gloves by movers, however that's not always realistic. These guys bust their butts and we had barely any damage to our belongings, better than most other companies I've worked with. Be realistic, wrap your nice items purposefully, and you'll have a good experience.”
“I was in making a transfer of freight, the whole drop took less then 10 mins. From pulling up to the gate, asking for a door, getting unloading and pulling off the property. Their response is fast and professional. Best experience i ever had dropping at another company's terminal.”
