They went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe and in good condition after an accident. Made the process easy by working directly with USAA. The car drives better than it did before.April at the front desk was kind and genuine. Carl, also very personable , went out of his way to help me with many pre-existing car issue questions. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!! Hired to come tow our car, never came. When we called they hung up on us several times, then put us on hold and never returned called again and dispatch said she was going to check and call right back and did not, called again and was told by dispatch driver was gonna call and he never did. DONE!!!!Unprofessional No Shows!

I have never seen a more unprofessional and u reliable company in my life and I work in corporate America. I would never use these people again. They lied and gave me a 1 hour window 9 hours later they called and said they were closing and wouldnt be coming but best of luck.

Had an accident where my rear right tail end was ripped apart. Brought my car in and 7 days later my car was good as new. Proud my insurance company recommended this group.

Went online to AAA for Roadside assistance. Was quoted 74 minutes. Half hour AFTER they were supposed to show up, called AAA again. On hold w/AAA while they tried contacting tow truck and they couldn't reach them. Asked who was dispatched & AAA said "Governor's Auto Body". No new eta from AAA. Waited 30 minutes more, then went inside to get some dinner. Checked my phone later and there was a text from Governors Auto Body driver saying he was at my car (3 hours after requesting service!) & for me to come outside (45 minutes ago!!!). THEN, I get a text from Governors Auto Body asking if I was satisfied with their service!!! I called the number & was told by the lady that she'd re-send the driver. Told her to BE SURE that the driver CALLED ME, not just texted me when he got there. 2 hours later, still no driver, no call, not EVEN a text! Called her back again to ask how much longer & she told me that she was only the answering service & had no idea. Said I had to go to work and asked what I should do now? Ended up cancelling the call, since they never showed back up. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Don't know how to give "0" STARS, but if I could, I would! And all I needed was to have my spare tire put on so I could take the leaking tire to the garage for repair! Luckily I was at home, but can you imagine waiting that long for "NO SERVICE?" They should NOT be approved as a AAA Roadside assistance response facility!

I dealt with Governors after they were contracted by AAA for a tow of my vehicle that died at a gas station in East Granby at 2:40 pm. After 6 hours of waiting around for them to show up I had finally gotten AAA to approve an unattended tow. Car was having electrical problems and wouldn’t start and the keys got locked inside from the car after locking itself whenever it decided to, which they were informed about. 1:30 AM my phone rings from a driver, he doesn’t have a lockout kit, great. 5:12am I get an automated text that someone is there and I need to meet them with no ability to respond. 8am the AAA app says the tow has been completed. I go to the repair shop and the car is not there. After about 20 calls to governors dispatch and to AAA and getting hung up on multiple times by dispatch and told I would receive a call back, that never happened once, I finally gave up and cancelled the request with AAA almost 24 hours later. But wait there’s more! While trying to cancel the request I was told that the driver was in route! Oh great some more waiting. Which turned into more lies. The driver never showed, and said they did, then said they were showing again, and never did. They said the tow was completed and it was just abandoned. After a new request the car was towed within 30 minutes by a different company. Governors Auto body has NO BUSINESS being in the customer service or towing industry. I strongly urge ANYONE that is in need of a tow to stay far far away from this horrible company that lies and can’t do anything correctly. Thank you for adding an unbelievable amount of stress to my life in a 24 hour period during a situation that was already very stressful.

My daughter was stranded on I91 after a tire blew out while on her way to college. Ray got a town truck to the site quickly and Steve brought the vehicle to the repair site fast and safe. We appreciate all Governor did for our family.
