I had a terrible experience at this location tonight in willimantic and I'm so appalled and upset I've never felt so disrespected in my life but let me explain, I had previously shopped at this store and got some hostess kaz bars (Choclate Carmel variety) and when i got them home i realized they are dated to only may 31st so only a couple more weeks but thought they should be fine as that is just a best buy date and usually most prodcuts tend to be fine but upon opening i found they were very firm and dried out and half the box had no cream filling and the other half had no caramel so knowing this was an issue with the manufacturer and not the store (outside of the expiration being so close to the date they were purchased) I contacted hostess and sent them pictures of the prodcuts i described and they replied swiftly and kindly and sent me 3 manufacturer coupons each for 1 box of hostess up to a value of $4.50. So I go in tonight and get a few items and grab my hostess as well and at the register I'm told I'm sorry I can only take 1 of those so i went back up to use another (diffrent transaction) and she said I can't use more than 1 a day and i said well thats odd I have never heard of such a thing but I'll check the stores policy. Upon checking the stores policy It said I could use 1 manufacturer coupon per item per transaction and 4 per day per house hold and they still refused and had the asistant gm come speak with me who also said she can only take 1 per day and that i would have to come back another day despite me showing her the stores policy on there own website... her excuse being because last time she was almost fired for taking a manufacturer coupon and that she knows im not gonna pay her bills if she gets fired and then had the nerve to ask me if I was planning on eating it all tonight and that I can come back 2 days and get a box each time and I explained that I have to walk across town as I don't have a car (even tho I shouldnt have had to explain anything) and i shouldnt have to walk across town 3 times because she is uneducated on her stores policies and she said well its nice weather you can walk meanwhile i have issues with my legs not that its any of her business and Its the point it doesn't matter if I live next door that is so rude she should be fired but not for coupons for unprofessional conduct and being rude to customers. Im giving 2 stars just out of respect for the employees who work there that I've dealt with in the past as they were much more pleasant in comparison. I am going to seek out the supervisor or who ever is the higher up at this location as I would like to have a conversation either in person or over email or phone so if you see this please reach out I have never felt so disrespected trying to use coupons anywhere in my whole life it was beyond appalling.

Very disappointed to see the frozen food section still empty after 2months already. And they never restock air freshener.

Store is supposed to be open till 10 and I get here at 9:50 and they are closed horrible customer service makes no sense why say you’ll be open to a time and then close early!

My son bought me a new phone accessory but it was the wrong style. I brought it back for a refund and they took care of it with no problem. Very good customer service.

The store it self was ok but the cashier was racist and extremely rude! She was talking about how she can't stand white people in Spanish not knowing I understood her. She was having a full on conversation (yelling over us, basically in our faces to a woman standing by the aisles) and we were clearly interupting her rants. The other woman was just hanging out, talking to the cashier like it was girls night... I didn't know family dollar supported such horrible work ethic but then again it doesn't take an educated person to run a register... She obviously doesn't understand that the customers are why she even has a job. And family dollar doesn't get that they just lost another couple of customers ✌ #shopAmazon
