DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We stored furniure with them for over 2 years. After the fact, from reviews, we have found out that they lose and damage your furniture. They LOST our 2.5 year old $3000 couch and offered us "peanuts" for it. Never an apology or verbal acceptance of blame. We had several pieces damaged, including the matching love seat. We filed a damage report, discovered more damage and were basically told "too bad, only ONE report can be filed". The account executives mislead you ("they never have a problem") when asked particulars. NEVER EVEN CONSIDER USING LIPPINCOTT.

If I could give a negative star I would. In 20 years of military moves this moving company has been the absolute worst! They sent three different crews to do a very small move...and none of them communicated with the other. The crews had attitude and did not take our wishes into consideration at all. Upon receipt of our delivery we had missing (or not tagged) items, broken items and a shrink wrapped couch packed with a sharp bladed tree trimmer!

STAY AWAY if you like your stuff an you want it all back because they like it to an won’t return it to you. An they like to damage things.But you better pay them.

If you’re doing an HHG, get another company. They don’t care if you have a family and need your household goods. They don’t care you’re military and need your stuff. They will keep your property in storage until the very last minute to maximize their profit. Probably need all that time to pilfer through your property and hope you don’t notice.

Thought they could finish my delivery in one day. Took two. Lost a whole crate of items and tried to hide it. Damaged my front door and scraped the wall inside and refuse to pay for damages. Total disregard for customer service. Left trash in my driveway from the crates and boxes.

they were very slow. also they were rude when I tried talking to them as in being very short with me and just not communicating. They were acting like they just did not care about my service. I would recommend finding a different company to use. I will never use them again.

Disrespectful. Tried fighting me bc I was pacing back and forth. I have a time I have to make as a driver and they were very rude and disrespectful, after their workers tried fighting me and I didn’t fight them, they kicked me out and said they aren’t accepting the shipment.

we moved with them last year, worst mistake ever . they were late getting to our new house by a day, then we had over 8 thousand dollars worth of damage, then had to wait several days because not everything got put on the truck, got nothing for it but excuses , do yourselves a favor &stay away from this company . i wouldnt let them move my dogs house !

We believe in offering grace and patience for companies to correct their issues or shortfalls. We have been working to obtain a solution with the Lippincott Van Lines for the past two months. Robert W. Lippincott or any senior leaders, please correct this issue. Some folks within the company are pleasant, but the follow-through is unbearable. No one takes accountability for working to obtain a resolution. Even more concerning is that they seem to use UCONN's name to gain customers without fixing their issues.The contracted driver showed up out home a hungover with the smell of alcohol and other substances. The driver took seven (7) smoking breaks every hour in the front of our house; took a 2-hour lunch break; came back from lunch drunk; threatened us several times in the presence of our young children while yelling that he could not figure out how to remove our sofa from the basement, and the list of concerns continues. How do you expect clarity in moving the essential items if anyone shows up under the influence? Our ceilings and walls had over eight holes. I called Jessica at the company immediately to advise that the drivers did not return from lunch after 2 hours, and we were being charged by the hour. The experience became so horrible that our children's babysitter felt the need to record the drive yelling at us, cursing, speaking poorly about Lippincott Van Lines that their sales and services team are idiots. I called the dispatcher department, Jessica from customer care, risk management, and others, and only received a call back from claims/risk management. We have left countless messages with several departments. I sent photos of the damages, and they kept advising us that they did not receive them. We had over $6,000 worth of current value of furniture damaged.We were closing on the home the following day and had to hire after hour contractors to assist in patching, sanding, and repainting both ceiling and walls. We sold off two furniture rooms after the quote was provided, and the driver/movers took the time and charged over $350 of what was initially quoted. We will assign an excessive overage with seven (7) smoke breaks of at least 15 minutes and a 2-hour lunch break. We are waiting for this matter to be resolved and the staff to reimburse for damages. We regret not using some of the smaller companies that called us instead of a company that is using UCONN's name to attract customers and not being loyal.

This company was discriminative against me for having a felony record from 13 year's ago. And by law a company can only discriminate for a felony under 7 years. And I had all the qualifications for the job position. Plus a cdl license.

We put our belongings in storage with Lippincott Van Lines. While everything went well in the planning stages once we were stored it went down hill. We moved to SC in search for a new home. We had been told by the manager we needed to give 3weeks notice to get our property delivered. I did just that and was told that I "misunderstood ".....she said 6 weeks. We were left in an empty house for 3 weeks and were told in an email that if we weren't happy we could get someone else to deliver. When we did get our property an antique chair was crushed, 3 wardrobe boxes were crushed, a small ottoman had a broken leg, the piano was damaged and our dining room hutch was chipped. We have been sent paperwork to report the damage but we're told it would be months before it would even be reviewed since there are many ahead of us with complaints. The guys who picked up our furniture and the ones who delivered were excellent. The office staff at Lippincott in Winsted Ct were rude and sarcastic. With their lack of professionalism I am not expecting much from my complaint. I just want to warn others. Holly Benton 6/28 went to storage 8/19 got delivery

Lippincott Van Lines has made my move to ******* the most difficult time I have ever had. They were late the day to load my furniture, said would have to bring to storage because their truck wouldn't fit coming to where I lived when in fact all moving trucks come there. They said they would deliver next truck between June 21st and June 25 and still no delivery. They still have not given me a delivery date. Never return phone calls and repeatedly say they never stated those dates which is a lie. I am in my home with no belongings and they could care less. Never have I been so angry and had such an unbelievable experience. They just don't care. Who do I turn to to get my life in order? Living with none of my possessions.
