I stopped in at Jack's, desperately needing air in my tires. I ride a mountain bike for transportation, and made a joke about needing a lift. He was very helpful, and made sure he inflated them properly and that I felt safer. We chatted a little bit, and when I asked if he was the owner, he said, "well, I pay the taxes on it"! Jack seems like a great guy, and I've heard he's been around for awhile. Shop was clean, great location, and obviously he's willing to help anyone, even a stranger on a bicycle.

Summer 2019: My F350 truck got hit in the rear quarter by a hit and run driver. That was on a Friday night. Saturday AM, I went to see Jack and Jessie and they picked up the ball and ran with the whole project, from the insurance company inspector's visit to the handling of payments to the pickup of the repaired truck. It was a complex project because of the replacement of several key panels.The work was perfect, color match perfect, and the delivery time exactly as promised. Can't be happier.

A young pregnant girl was locked out of her running vehicle in Winsted today. It’s 19 degrees out. Winsted police dept “couldn’t” help her, so they gave her Jack’s Auto Body # to call. Two men from Jack’s came to help. They used a wedge and a long reach tool to try to get it open. They couldn’t seem to figure it out. A person from one of the houses in the neighborhood came out. They gave him the long reach tool. He gets the door open. They then charge the pregnant girl $50 and go on their way?!?!?! They were there for 5 minutes! I understand everyone needs to make a living, but give the poor girl a break! Unbelievable. Nice work guys.
