Earlier today I had a shockingly unprofessional, very distasteful interaction with the folks at Heibeck’s. My girlfriend got a flat tire while driving to work down Route 7. She pulled over at the Mobil station near Caraluzzi’s and I met her to put on her spare. As I was jacking up the car, the man from the Mobil came out and said that the place across the street fixes flats. We walked over the spoke to the man at Heibeck motors. He rudely insisted that the tire wasn’t leaking. I showed him that it was. He broke a part of the trim off my girlfriend’s car while jacking it up improperly. He said the flat couldn’t be fixed and decided to put the spare on. Every time is said, “I can do it”, he insisted that he do it: “no allow me”. He was very standoffish, rude and incompetent throughout the interaction. Even so, I decided to give him a tip, despite the fact that he damaged the car and set us back by about a half hour. When I handed him that tip he said “what is this? I want 30 dollars”. I politely disputed this as I felt he was being dishonest, pretending to do a kindness while expecting payment for doing nothing. I did not raise my voice or cuss. He immediately threatened to call the police, called me a “f***ing scumbag”, and hurriedly reentered his shop. Absolutely terrible. I think some of his treatment of my girlfriend and I was due to the fact that we are young and somewhat ethnically ambiguous looking. They had a large “Don’t Tread on Me” flag in their shop and were standoffish from the very beginning of the interaction. This man is not only bad at what he does, but is also dishonest and offensive. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Had B & M shifter mod installed here on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The shifter pin ended up breaking after about 9 months of use. Fixed here without an appointment same day. Great shop. Highly recommend. Fair Prices.

I had a problem with my car for several months that 2 other local mechanics could not diagnose. I brought it to Heibeck's as a last try before giving up, and they were able to figure out what the issue was. Turned out a part had malfunctioned and they even were honest to tell me to try the dealer first, as they may cover the part. I was impressed that they advised this before just doing it themselves and getting the money. When the dealer said they wouldn't give any discount, Heibeck's then told me how I could order the part for the best price and they would just charge me the labor. Extremely honest and very good quality work. Thank you for saving my car from the dump! 😊

Great service and family owned for so many years! The negative review regarding an incident where police did not call the family should be aimed at the police department and not Heibeck's. Every towing place has a flat rate for towing and a daily rate and if the police were not called, the blame should be pointed their way! Heibeck's is the place I call when I have issues with my car!

Appalling! I can not believe this place! The towing prices are astronomical! I did not hire them after my daughter had an accident with our car. The car hydro planed on a rainy day and flipped over from the right side of the road into the woods, completely off Route 7. Not blocking the road at all. The police never called me after the accident when the driver was my 16 year old daughter. But they made a point to call Heibeck Towing which was less than 5 minutes away. Neither the police nor Heibeck ever contacted me. All my information and registration was in the car. That same day I contacted my AAA tow company to move it only to find that it was gone. My daughter found out from a friend that it was towed to Heibeck. So the next day I called and they quoted me $152.75 for the towing plus an additional $24 per day. Here it is, the day after the terrible accident and I owe them $200.75. If I don't move the car right now then tomorrow morning the bill is $224.75. I'm very upset and planning to contact the Better Business Bureau. What a racket they have going on in this town!

THANK-YOU! I want to publicly thank Mike, who was able to diagnose and repair my car the good old fashioned way: using his knowledge and car sense. My car was not accelerating properly. I could barely make it up a hill in low gear. And engine light did NOT come on. It was a tricky diagnosis because it turned out there were two things wrong with the car: 1) The serpentine belt was not functioning properly due to a missing bolt that caused it to turn unevenly. that was hard to find. 2) One of the coils had to be replaced. I really don't know much about cars, but I always like to ask and find out what the problem was. At the Heibecks, they'll take the time to explain to you as much as you want to know.
