Terrible Rx. Alwayd backed up, always short of a pharmacist and slow. I switched to another pharmacy and you should too! Very frustrating

The absolute WORST customer service, the manager BRETT was not at all flexible or accommodating in a situation that was their mistake. I will NEVER use them again for prescriptions. This is why their overall review is so bad!!

I had a great experience at our local CVS in Wilton, CT. My encounter was notable and exceptional because I met dedicated staff who clearly care about customer service and their customers. During my visit they went above and beyond and out of their way to take care of me. I am beyond grateful not to mention impressed. I should note that it was the Pharmacist (senior employee) who additionally shined because she advocated for her team commenting how hard they worked when I complimented her on the service. Great experience from a large chain with a small town personal experience. Well done.

This is my local CVS now and I am very happy with it. Way better than the one in Norwalk... The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy employees are a pleasure to speak with. It's not the biggest CVS pharmacy I've been to but they manage to have everything I need. I highly recommend this CVS and giving it five out of five stars.

The final straw with this CVS pharmacy. After failing to fill a prescription that they prompted me to set as autofill they gave me no communication that my medication was out of stock and needed to be ordered, put me on hold (after being rude and condescending when I asked to clarify when my medication would be available), and after an additional 15 minutes sitting on hold, was hung up on. I then got a text message about a second medication that was bundled but still no word on when the out of stock med will be available. If I could transfer the 3-month refill to another pharmacy without jumping through hoops with my insurance company, I would do it this minute.

Titled: CVS Pharmacy supervisor tells her customers "You are lucky we come to work!" The CVS pharmacy in Wilton closes for lunch everyday from 1:30-2:00. Those of us in the community know this and re-arrange our schedules to accommodate this. But now that's not enough, as you will learn from this story. Today, with his hand swollen and head spinning, 30 minutes prior to the lunch hour closing and having stood in line for 10 minutes, my husband was told to come back again after 2:00pm. He was not told this because they could not fill the prescription for valid reasons, ie they had received the script earlier, they had the med, they had multiple staffing filling scripts.... . He explained to the check out clerk that he had just had hand surgery hours before and this prescription was for the pain meds; and that he could not drive and could not come back. The clerk and the staff wanted to fill it and send him on his way, but Janae, the supervisor told them not to do this. Being the gentle soul he is, he took the rebuff and went to wait in the car for me. I had just finished shopping at the local market across the street and was appalled by the fact that he was turned away, so I went into the pharmacy directly. It was 1:20 and the pharmacy was still open. The pharmacy shift supervisor, Janae, told me that she instructed her pharmacists to not fill my husband's prescription because the pharmacists are working too hard and that I should be happy that they come into work. When I said we are a small community and we try to support our local businesses, Janae pointed out to me that CVS is a corporation, not a community pharmacy. Oh where or where did the local pharmacies go? As I read other Yelp comments, it seems perhaps the problem is the individual, not the store. If that is the case, I hope broader awareness will get this issue addresses as this IS the COMMUNITY pharmacy.

I want to provide sincere feedback regarding CVS Pharmacy in Wilton, CT. My experience was marked by encountering dispassionate and indifferent pharmacists, a departure from my experiences at other pharmacies. Despite visiting during business hours, arriving 20 minutes before the pharmacy's scheduled closure, and presenting a handwritten doctor's note that had been sent to the pharmacy five hours earlier, the pain prescription was not filled.Expressing the urgency due to the recent surgery and the potential for significant suffering without the prescribed painkiller overnight, I was informed by the pharmacist that she needed to re-verify the prescription, citing a lack of response from the doctor's office. Consequently, she refused to fill the prescription, stating the need to close and go home. This left me speechless, considering I had adhered to their business hours, the prescription had been received five hours prior, and I had a handwritten doctor's note. Regrettably, these efforts seemed inconsequential.Following up with the doctor the next morning, he expressed shock at the situation, attributing it to an abuse of power by the pharmacy staff. The night was marked by my husband's suffering and intense pain, all because of the actions of seemingly heartless individuals working in the pharmacy. It is disheartening to witness a lack of compassion and diligence in carrying out their responsibilities. If fulfilling one's duties with compassion and due diligence proves challenging, perhaps seeking alternative employment is worth considering. I am compelled to file a formal complaint with the Secretary of State to address this unfortunate incident.

Tried to charge us $250 for a COVID and flu shot, even though their website says COVID shots are free even without insurance and flu shots are $20 anywhere else.

Took forever to fill a simple prescription. My doctor called to make sure everything was done correctly. I stood at pharmacy and watched 5 people not answer her call. Just let the phone ring until she hung up. Twice.

This location is Completely disfunctional. Reports of lost prescriptions and "out of stock drugs for months" long lines and several employees bouncing around highly confused. Extremely rude unprofessional pharmacist/manager on duty when I was there that threatened.Go else where.

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. It’s the absolute worst. Good luck walking into the store and not having to wait 20 mins in line or randomly be told the pharmacist just didn’t show up for work..avoid this location.

Love having a CVS in Wilton, but the pharmacy is unreliable at best. Lately, they've been periodically closed during hours when they should be open. CVS never notified us of any issues such as meds requiring doctor instructions or confirmations. We would make our way over there and start the back and forth with them. There's usually a line for the pharmacy. Avoid the pharmacy at all costs at 2pm, since they're closed for lunch from 1:30-2pm. The final straw for us was when the pharmacist walked out effectively shuttering the pharmacy for the day. My husband needed urgent antibiotics, so we had to painstakingly switch the prescription to another pharmacy and still couldn't get the meds because CVS marked them as in-progress. This wasn't the case. We were able to get them the following morning at the Stop and Shop pharmacy in Wilton. The pharmacist there was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and highly communicative, unlike CVS. I would give CVS pharmacy 1 star, but the retail location is good. It's not as big as the one in Ridgefield, but they have most necessities.

Wrong Cvs pharmacy recvd script. Intern in Wilton said my job to call and lift hold. I said can’t u do it? She said no(I just spent 10mins with other CVs and they said call the one u want) and then when I threatened to leave and can I speak to pharmacist after she was saying too busy to call… anyway is this laziness… a lie? switch to a privately owned pharmacy… no waiting… no options on phone… much better service… they aren’t corporate behemoths and need our business
