I went to my first farmers market since 25 yrs ago?? I love the atmosphere of a farmers market, and I absolutely love supporting family businesses. I got loads of organic veggies, apples, and 2 lbs of organic honey. I came home and made cabbage soup with lots of different vegetables and loose leaf herbal tea for the delicious honey I bought. What a delight my day was all because I started it with a trip to the Willimantic Farmers market✨️

Driving back from some yard sale hunting we found this farmers market, ended up getting some veggies, ground beef, butter and sourdough bread. ?

It's so very nice to have a local Farmer's Market! It's a place to gather and enjoy the bounty of the season. This market is right by the river where there is a pretty overview. People are friendly, we often see friends and there is a good variety of goods from produce to crafts with a little live music going on in the background. The season will be over soon but it's wonderful while it's here!
