We went here for the first time, and it was like traveling back in time. What a cool place, full of history. The owner still runs the place. He is such an amazing person. Lots of knowledge. The best is the soda, of course. Believe it or not, we are not soda drinkers, but there's something about Hosmer soda. It's very refreshing. Birch beer, root beer, sarsaparrilla are sooooo good.

Many different flavored drinks. You have to pay an additional $0.10 per bottle for a deposit. The sodas are very flavorful and satisfying. Must use the bathroom, it’s in the basement, and super cool and creepy, I Loved it!

Omg I love this little mom and pop soda shop. Today was my first time and we purchased 4 cases fory daughters sweet 16. Each case holds 24 sodas and was less than $20 before the deposit (you get back when you return the bottles). The chocolate cream is delicious! We purchased chocolate cream, black cherry, root beer, birch beer, orange and grape and strawberry. Will definitely be back

I grew up closer to the shoreline, so grew up with Avery's as the standard local soda. However, once I moved up to the eastern corner of the state, I was introduced to Hosmer and I will say that while I do miss the hometown feel of a cold Avery's, I actually do prefer Hosmers! Their flavors are classic, and they don't need fancy frills to be tasty. Love the antique feel of the willimantic location too.

The soda or seltzer is amazing! The gentlemen inside was a great human. He even explained a little bit of the history of the sodas to us, he's very passionate about what he's doing and that made us even more excited to try the product. Happily went home with 24 bottles, can't wait to return the empty bottles and try some more.
