“Love this place for all things indoor plants! They have the best selection of pots in the area. Their “house made” potting soil is my favorite to use. I add some worm castings (also available at Woodland) for extra nutrients, though it’s just perfect out of the bag. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.”
“Top Shelf All The Way! Dave and his family are so incredibly nice and knowledgeable about all things plants and flowers. Their hearts are in their business; it is so evident they love what they do. Now - their flowers! The BEST I have ever gotten. They are so beautiful and long lasting. I have trimmed them as needed and they just keep blooming. The first flower arrangement was so pleasing, my husband went and bought me a second for our anniversary. They last so much longer than other ones I have purchased from local plant places. I'm attaching photos. Every time I look out and see my flowers, I am happy! Is there a better recommendation than that? :) I plan to be back for my yearly flower arrangement. I will go nowhere else. “This Home Depot may be smaller than others but I had to leave a review for the customer service desk worker named Lailah. On 7/3 I had a difficult return on an item purchased by my contractor (who went missing on me) Lailah was so patient and went above and beyond finding the order to do the return instead of a “we can’t do it” she made a horrible situation a bit better. Thank you again!”

“From start to finish Aqua Scapes was a pleasure to work with and they did an awesome job installing my pond. it is quite evident that Rob and his team have a passion for their work. The pond is now a focal point of the yard and guests flock to it complimenting me on how beautiful it is. I enjoy sitting in my Adirondack chair listening to the soothing sound of the waterfall and watching the birds come for a drink and the fish swimming around. It is truly a piece of natural art! I highly recommend them!”

“I have been using this store for years and have never been disappointed with my orders. When my wife receives roses at her office everyone comments how beautiful the long stem roses look and they do seem to last longer than most store bought flowers. Family run business with owners who are on site and available.”

“I recently moved nearby and was curious about this Farm's offerings. My review exclusively focusses on the food-related Farm-stand part of the business. They sell plants and flowers, but I didn't pay attention to that aspect of their operations. Cold Spring sells some of their own produce, products from other CT Farms and/or Orchards, Cold Spring branded products such as salsa, and other area products such as bread from a local bakery. I bought green cabbage, peaches, celery and salsa. Everything seemed appropriate quality for seasonal CT produce. The produce I didn't buy also looked good and represented what's in season pretty well. I will definitely go back for in season produce since I live in the area. This is an observation as opposed to a criticism. The reason I'm giving Cold Brook 4 Stars rather than 5 Stars relates to the extent of their offerings compared to another Farm Stand I frequently visit that's a bit farther away. That Farm Stand has a wide range of partnerships with high end CT businesses and they have things like high quality bagels, cheeses, pies, cupcakes, ice cream sandwiches, etc. That Farm Stand also has a wider range of canned goods, meats, and dairy products etc. I would travel farther to a Farm Stand like that because there are more products that interest me. Cold Spring will be the place I go for convenience when I want in season produce for a few days.”
“The owner is always polite and ready to help. We rented a rototiller, it worked very well. They were happy we put gas back in after using it. Love their great prices! We always have great luck with their plants too.”
“Went in because I had a very clogged toilet and had already bought an auger at Lowes that did not work - it was too rigid to twist into the shape of the pipe. One of the employees saw me and suggested I not buy the one in my hand because he'd tried it and it didn't work. He helped me find a different one - Rigid brand ironically - and let me tell you, in less than 30 seconds my toilet was working again! He saved my day!”

“Come here from time to time. This store is HUGE. Prices are more than Nh... but so is everything so I don't really complain. Nothing *crazy* to state.... It's Home Depot not a nightclub but the plants always seem healthy. Last time I was here there was a confrontation between the police and an Asian gentlemen. I watched for awhile and nothing spectacular came of it. Kinda would say that's the *vibe* for this store. One other time this lady who worked here was rude... I was here right at opening and went to walk in and boy she shut those doors quick. Idk why they were unlocked but I didn't unlock them and thus was a little taken again. Figured that was just a once off. For all of these reasons, 4/5 ... maybe 85/100 if this was a test. We could call it a "B"”

“Went in to fix and buys some doors.This store had everything I needed: Wood metal fence and two doors for self install. Didn't need to look around like people seem to say. There's employees everywhere waiting to help out. All you got to do is look. They have supplies well stocked too.No problem with this here store. I like it.”

“Friendly and efficient customer service. I went to pick up my massive laminate floor order. Peter kindly said he would meet me at the lumber door entrance. Peter and Aiden then assisted in filling my entire car quickly and safely with my huge order. I didn't have to lift a finger. Would definitely recommend this Home Depot to anyone. Outstanding speed and service.”
“Very convenient place to rent rarely used power tools. They are super helpful and will help you load and unload. The Home Depot app is also super convenient as it keeps track of inventory and lets you know how many of a particular tool they have, or if you have to look in a neighboring store.”

“Great little local pick up spot for heirloom and other quality seeds. The entrance is a bit difficult to find, it's just before the loading docks. They should put a little awning over the door with words like "welcome" or "showroom" or even a plaque above the door. Very cute little showroom. Definitely recommend ordering a seed catalog online. Buy local!”
