“I had the pleasure of working with Margie Satell at Ethan Allen in Manchester, CT. From the start she was very friendly and knowledgeable without being an overly aggressive salesperson. After listening to my end goal, she steered me in a direction that I never would have taken for kitchen stools. She even went above and beyond her duty by bringing a sample to my home to show me how it would look in my kitchen. After placing my order, Margie consistently contacted every so often me regarding the lead time. (The swivel section of the stools had a longer than average lead time) The stools finally arrived today and are much more beautiful than I expected! The leather seat covers look amazing and the quality of each piece is outstanding. I am so pleased with the choice! Many thanks to Margie for her design expertise; she was terrific to work with!T”

“We have been customers of CLC for several years and they have always had a wide selection of lighting options for our home We.have had custom light fixtures made for our bathroom and most recently purchased a new ceiling fan and front entry way light. The staff is there to assist and is very knowledgeable but not pushy. Brian helped us withcou purchases and we could not be happier. We will be back soon as we have more lighting needs we need to have "fixed"”

“World Market is such a beautiful store. It has so much nostalgia for me, because here I can find some delicious German treats that I'd have as a kid that I'd never know still exist if it weren't for World Market. There are isles of international cookies, chocolate and other goods. There's also beautiful furniture, pillows and kitchen items. I personally wouldn't invest in a couch from World Market because it's typically very expensive, and you can find similar items at other retailers. But they have unique accent chairs and small attractive furniture items. My favorite thing to get here, in addition to the chocolate, are the Christmas ornaments. They are so, so beautiful, and so unique. There is so much detail in each one. Now that it's after Christmas, they are all 50% off, making each one around $2.50 - $4.00. If you have a World Market in your area, I'd encourage you go and check them out. While some items are more expensive, the unique items, hard to find items and the nostalgic items are what it's worth stopping for.”

“The outside is very deceptive, it looks like it would be a small little shop, but when you walk in you'll realize the business extends far back into the building. If you're an antique lover you'll lose your cool walking in here. The selection of items is rather staggering. Great old furniture, nick knacks, jewelry, watches, an impressive assortment of odds and ends. It's easy to lose track of time while browsing around in there. Picked up a couple of Tom Jones vinyl records and they're awesome. She's a lady! Whoa whoa whoa, she's a lady!”

“When it came time to finally makeover our dated living room, I could not part with 2 side chairs so we made decision to have them upholstered. I sent pics to Oak and Velvet and they responded quickly and with a very reasonable fee. Then came time to pick out the fabric...what I thought would be an easy decision became an hour plus adventure with the designer. There were tons of fabric books to choose from and the designer offered many beautiful ideas (and was so very patient with me!). We also had a custom ottoman and pillows made to go with the chairs and they came out absolutely perfect! I had missed an email that the ottoman was ready for pick up and Erica was gracious to wait for me to come late to pick it up right before the holidays. Since the service and workmanship were an exceptional experience, we are now going to have them custom make an ottoman/coffee table. They also have a great selection of custom pillows that are better in quality and price than anything you would get at Homegoods or Marshalls. Of course I bought 4 Highly recommend Oak and Velvet!Services: Chair construction & installation”

He took the time to answer all of my questions and help me find the perfect mattress for my needs.I was also impressed with Justin Garcia 's willingness to negotiate on price. He was able to get me a great deal on my new mattress, even though it was close to store closing time.My mattress was delivered the next day, and the delivery men were very courteous and efficient. They set up my new mattress and removed my old ones.Overall, I had a very positive experience with Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattress Store. The sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful, the prices were fair, and the delivery was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this store to others looking for new furniture.”
