Last week my 14 year old shih tzu Chloe was in bad shape. Vomiting, diarrhea, zero energy. I thought she was a goner. The team at AA gave her a thorough evaluation and diagnosed her with an acute liver problem. They gave her fluids overnight and miraculously brought her back to life. Chloe is back to being her usual lovable / annoying self!

Recently my dog Hazel passed away unexpectedly and before I could get her to the office. The amount of compassion I was shown was outstanding .. followed by the most touching sympathy card. Hazel was everything to me and this truly made me feel she was loved and my grief was understood .

Dr. Andrea and the whole team are wonderful, they went above and beyond to tried save my beloved cat (Wello)and even though I had to make the decision to say goodbye to him, I am grateful for all they did. Also because of the care, professionalism, and compassion we were treated during this difficult process, we as a family didn’t feel alone. Thank you so much for everything you have done! Our first visit here, I honestly couldn’t believe how kind everyone was. I’ve had some poor experiences with vets, some outright horrible ones with a local emergency vet clinic, and was taken aback at how gosh darn NICE everyone is at this vet. It’s been years since we switched to seeing this vet office exclusively and we’ll never look back. They’ve helped us through the process of euthanizing two of our dogs (one old age, one sudden onset emergency) and they made an excruciating experience as comfortable as it could possibly be given the circumstances, with only the utmost empathy and gentleness. I have sobbed over the loss of my dogs in front of these people, that’s how at ease I’ve felt. We’re now rescuing a new puppy to give my current dog a friend again and they’ve been so patient in answering my million and one questions and concerns, and have given so much useful advice. Seriously, switch to this vet and do not ever look back. You will not regret it for a single moment, and most importantly, neither will your pets’ health.

I have had the pleasure through the years of being the Mom to many wonderful pets, cats and dogs. However, as with any living thing there comes a point in time when they either pass on their own or the decision to end their suffering has to be made. Before two weeks ago the last time I had to make that decision was 11 years ago with my dog who thank goodness had lived a good long life. Recently though my 8 year old dog was diagnosed with cancer that spread and was suffering and had to be put to sleep. It was a devastating decision for me and my family. But in all honesty the staff and Dr. Pina at Double A were WONDERFUL and really cared, never pushing us to make a decision either way and checking up on me to make sure I was okay. As with my dog 11 years ago, they sent a beautiful card and Rainbow Bridge poem while we were grieving which was so appreciated. And the new room they created in the back for us to spend the last moments with him was so comforting to us. It felt like he was home with us just going down for a nap with his family surrounded by love, hugs and comfort. Thank you so much Double A. This is why I continue bringing my pets to you.

In 14 years we've had excellent care of our cat and dog at Double A. We've seen a variety of doctors and always feel as though our pets are truly loved. When we had to say goodbye to our cat, we were treated with compassion and kindness. We were brought in through a separate door to a private comfort room to have our time with her. The experience, while sad, was cushioned by the care we received. Now that our dog is in her senior years, she is given priority if there is an issue and we appreciate the time and attention all the doctors give her. We would highly recommend Double A Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a caring place for their pets.

Dr. Andrea and staff are top notch in our book! The warmth, care and support given to our dogs in each visit is outstanding. It is evident the staff here love animals and are so kind and patient with whom they work with. Our family recently endured the loss of our beloved Oakley and Double A went above and beyond to keep his memory alive and were thoughtful in caring for our family. We can’t thank Double A enough for being our number one choice for our other dog and for any future animals we have. They’re truly the best!

The staff here is absolutely wonderful. I had to come to this vet today when I had an emergency situation. They were compassionate and caring and treated me like a twenty year client. I would highly recommend them.

This is a wonderful veterinarian hospital. I have been taking my pets there for over 25 years! Andrea is honest, truthful, and realistic. I greatly admire her and her staff.
