I had previously worked for Dillon Baxter Funeral Home. The owner Gerald was making fun of the way I was dressed. I have sold men's clothing and was properly attired. Gerald is a mean spirited man who only paid his employees in cash I guess to avoid paying taxes

This is the second time when my family worked with this business within the last 2 years and they were very professional. Very helpful and able to accommodate the family requests every time. Very good value and able to assist with all the details that arise unfortunately in such tough times.

During a difficult time, the burden is eased when caring people help. Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home was so helpful with our family's loss. Helping my parents step by step through the process of burying a loved one, their kindness and compassion was amazing. Professionalism, as they were, is important but kindness is what is always remembered. A special thanks from our family for such wonderful care during our sad time!

I can not say enough about how amazing and professional all of the staff was at Dillon-Baxter. I was faced with an untimely death of a young person and had no experience in the process; all the staff were so compassionate, patient and helpful. They took care of all our requests with such ease and were beyond willing to help with any questions and referrals. Not only were they amazing with the actual arrangements, they were all so personally compassionate towards my family and I. My family member was prepared amazing on the day and everything was beautiful. Special mention to Nicole, she was more than spectacular during this process, so compassionate and relatable. I really thank them for making this difficult time a little less difficult.

I called the family run Dillon - Baxter Funeral Home recently to arrange my mother's funeral services. From the moment I heard Jerry Baxter Jr.'s calm and caring voice I knew we would be in great hands. At our initial meeting he immediately brought my brothers and I great comfort and eased our fears of getting through this emotional process. We knew as he began to guide us and handle the many details with great thought, care and attention that he and his staff would treat our Mom like his own and give her the service she deserved and that we envisioned for her.Jerry explained all service options, prices were reasonable and we never felt any pressure to choose something more expensive than we wanted. The night of the wake we could see the thought that went into arranging the room with her pictures, flowers, music and a video screen. We were especially pleased with how his staff captured my Mom's likeness from a photo we had given him. She looked beautiful. The funeral service was was carried out in the same fashion.Jerry Baxter Sr. has certainly instilled high service standards for his family of compassionate professionals. This was demonstrated by his son and another staff member we worked with, Sue, who was especially kind, helpful and patient with any questions and concerns we had.My family and I are so grateful to Jerry and the entire staff of Dillon-Baxter and would highly recommend them to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. We know their commitment to outstanding service and caring ways will see them through a difficult time.

We want to thank everyone at Dillon-Baxter funeral home for the caring, consoling, compassionate and professional manner in which you handled the viewing and burial service of my Mom, Inocencia "Chany" Morales. It was an extremely difficult situation for us and we are still struggling in dealing with such a huge loss, but your entire staff did an exemplary job in working with my family and I through this difficult time. We are forever grateful and very appreciative of how much you and your staff cared. On behalf of the Morales family we want to express our most heartfelt thank you! I miss you so much Mom! You will forever be in my heart! ❤?? #RIPMom ???

By FAR the best in the business!! I was greeted with a smile and a hand shake, the facility is always always kept in nothing less than pristine condition both in and outside, cars always spotless, carpets always vacuumed, windows always sparking, not a single inch missed! Both Jerry's senior and junior are there with the family in mourning every step of the process to cater to every single need, they were extremely punctual, their staff carried themselves in a very professional and polite manner and were extremely respectful. They were helpful with parking, directions, helping family members in and out of the building, everything was great. It is a fantastic funeral home, run by a fantastic family and staff, and there isn't a single doubt in my mind that I would HIGHLY reccomend Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home to anyone in their sad time of loss. The Baxter's take a great, great weight off the families shoulders during a very emotional and difficult time. The very best of the best, professional, and 110% reccomend Dillon-Baxter to anyone.

First, they let the obituary go into the paper with the feminine form of "fiancée" listed for my very male partner. Really, they could have done a lot more to ensure that the obituary was appropriate, but I'll let that slide. Second, they locked the doors before the viewing for my grandmother was supposed to be over so some mourners were unable to pay their respects.
I'm changing my rating from two stars to one. Instead of apologizing properly, Dillon-Baxter had one of their owners and then one of their friends give five-star ratings to boost their average. Seriously, what funeral home does this?
