This place is seriously so delusional. I don't even know what happened to Whole Foods. The Westport location is literally the most ridiculous place I can visit within a week. None of the counter staff talk to you with any of respect even if, you say please and thank you. There is always Staff members stocking the shelves nonstop when you were trying to shop therefore you can't access items on the shelves. I was shopping the other day and trying to find my mother and as I was walking to put my frozen bags of fries in the cart the woman in the cosmetics department tried to run me over with the cart and had no respect for me walking to my cart, as I am the customer! I am honestly the nicest person, but I looked at her and said, do you really think it's normal that you don't let a customer walk to their cart? You could've just waited for me to pass you. And instead of saying sorry to me, she just said sure! The butcher bar, is never friendly, the fish department is the only friendly department! I really don't like shopping here, every time I come here I feel unwelcome, judged, and I do feel like they are racist.

on Tuesday night, 2/27/24, we had 15 minutes before an important meal that sprung up on us ... we drove to Whole Foods where we had never been and Claire the manager helped us shop for and feed 20 people for this last minute gathering. She was efficient, knowledgeable and thoughtful... guided us to each item, even began check out while we ran around to gather more. if she worked for every store it would be top rated. thank you Claire. great food, great service.

Ridiculously long wait time for grocery pickup and they don’t want to check to see what’s going on.

I didn't really want to write this. I've been a loyal customer for years. But I've had quality problems with WF fresh fruit and vegetables. Too many soft blueberries mealy oranges, apples, clementine's and pears. In a word terrible. I've never experienced a fruit and vegetable dept. so horrible. It's almost as if they buy the farmers worst veggies and fruits and charge more than anyone else for them. I predict WF will fail. Their consumers are too smart to continue to buy worthless products that end up in the garbage. With WF fruits and vegetables you will literally being throwing money in the garbage.

Great variety of food/misc. options from name brands to the store brand (365 I believe). They carry a lot of eco friendly options like reusable bags, containers, and hygiene products. Being a Prime member can help you score additional deals in store too. They offer discounts for non-Prime members but also some greater deals for Prime members (for example: 11% off for non-Prime members but 20% off with Prime membership). They have a robust collection of prepared foods both hot and cold. They have a deli and small bakery and several different "specialty" counters like a butcher and hard cheese. They offer a great selection of baked goods, prepared foods, and so much more. This is also a convenient location for Amazon returns and order pickups. The store has a set of pickup lockers near the front as well as a return kiosk too.

Went to get a dozen red roses for my wife's birthday today. While the flowers are always great, I was very disappointed to be told that they usually don't have red roses on Fridays because it's their "skip" and they don't get deliveries on Fridays. They did have some red roses, but they were mixed into arrangements with other flowers.I would think Friday and Saturday would be their biggest days for roses.Looks like Whole Foods is no longer my go-to place for roses anymore. Just can't rely on them having what I want.

Clean, & never have to search for help, people are always ready to help you - and I have yet to ask an associate for help without them actually taking me to the product. Not just telling me “oh Isle 12”Very convenient when I'm in a rush and need a few or just one thing.I will also say, I've lived here for 7 years in Westport, this is my go-to for fresh, ripe melons and produce in general- you get what you pay for!

I really hate to write a review like this, but write it I must...Hands down, this WF is the worst of the dozen or so WFs I've shopped at in 4 States across the past couple decades. It has a record of consistency in this regard, having fallen short since it transitioned over from the Wild Oats store that once occupied this space...(I LOVED the Wild Oats, and was saddened to see it go...).The fundamental problem at this store seems to be staffing. This, frankly, perplexes me - since the Westport WF hires from what I'm guessing is the same labor pool as do the Darien and Fairfield stores - which have far more helpful and committed employees. The problem isn't limited to first line employees, but seems to extend into the ranks of some of the supervisory staff as well. I am pretty sure that WF Corporate/Regional staff know that this store falls short, since every year or two, they seem to bring in an excellent store manager that really works hard to get the store on track, and then not too long after they leave, the store reverts to its true character as if fated to do so...But I'm now simply fed up with it, and have decided to not waste my time shopping there in the futile hope it will improve. I will either go to the WFs in Fairfield or Darien, and when I don't have the time for that schlep, head to the Stop & Shop in Wilton or Main Ave. in Norwalk.

Had to deal with an opinionated intern cashier the other day (Moses?). I simply asked if my payment went through and the guy acted like I insulted his mother.

Whole Foods impresses with its abundant array of ready-to-eat meals, making it a go-to for those seeking both convenience and value. While the staff might not always serve with a side of warmth, the overall offerings make it a favorable spot for a quick and tasty food fix. A good destination for shoppers prioritizing quality and variety.
