Lots of stores offer a wide variety of carpets, BUT they don’t have Marjan! Does she have all the knowledge, expertise & competitive pricing to order and install whatever kind of carpet you want? Of course. She also has impeccable taste, a sense of color, balance and scale. It’s like having a personal Decorator for free! Better yet, and this is the thing money can’t buy- she cares! She answers the phone, remembers your name, wants you to text her- using her cell number to keep open lines of communication. She is a business owner who does her very best every single day. Marjan leads with her heart and appreciates your business. ❤️ These days, at least in my experience, that’s rare…. Go to her store, and see for yourself…. ❤️

This store has the best customer service I have experienced in the last 30 years. Very easy to work with. I own a boat and they agreed to cut my carpeting from very precise drawings I provided, down to a 1/2” detail, like a jig saw puzzle and in the end it all fit together perfectly, at no additional charge. In the end, binding all the odd shaped pieces did add up to more than I expected, but the finished product looks outstanding and is a great value. I highly recommend them

I am totally blown away with the quality and craftmanship of Westport Carpet. From start to finish it was a smooth process and their prices are very reasonable. I came in with a picture of what I wanted and Marjan assured me the stair runner could be cut and installed the way I wanted it, despite being told by another store it could not be done. She was right, it turned out perfect and I'm thrilled with the way it looks! And a big shout out to my installers Dave and Don, they were quick, respectful and clean, great job guys!

The manager gives personal interest to the clients needs. She listens and brings out different samples explaining the difference between various qualities. She showed a lot of enthusiasm in my project! We love all the rugs we bought from her!

Very poor customer service and attitude. They think they are doing the customer a favor. We planned to consider them for a large carpet project for our home. They expressed interested to work with us on a small starter project and were initially very courteous and accommodating. Then we had a misunderstanding caused by inaccurate information they provided for our first appointment. While we politely tried to explain the misunderstanding they went into a shockingly arrogant diatribe and rudely talked over us. It was very strange behavior considering it was a small matter. We cannot imagine their approach if we had a really big problem.

Westport Carpet and Rugs is a hidden gem in Westport. It’s not a large shop, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in personality. There really is a large inventory on location and they even let you take samples home. I’ve visited a few times and when the weather is nice, there is always a different array of colorful rugs on display outside. To be honest I don’t know a lot about rugs or carpets, but the manager seems to have an abundance of advice, knowledge, and experience. She really helped me stay within my budget and provided an in-depth explanation of why certain materials cost more and which were right for my needs. She didn’t try and Up-sell me which was a welcome surprise. If you need carpets or rugs, I’d definitely recommend you stop by Westport Carpet and Rugs.
