“What a beautiful store! There are so many things to like about it. There is a very cool intimate coffee bar serving many kinds of coffee. Steven is the owner and a class act supported by an assortment of very pleasant and helpful associates who truly look like they love what they do! The store carries many unique items including many seasonal goods. Cool antique cars for toddlers, clothing, i noticed a doll house, beautiful candles, coasters, carpets, chairs, children's books, decorative items of all kinds. This is a feel good store with from what i can tell, a loyal clientele to go along with a top notch people happy to serve and guide with a smile!”

Love the vibe and seeing local artisans creativity come alive. Every time I stopped by, a staff member was very helpful and friendly and gave assistance when needed. I like to take my time to look and admire the work. My latest buys are jewelry from BeadFreeForever (always gets lots of compliments when I wear her jewelry).Also picked up a dish cloth with a catchy quote by Two-Dutchess. Definitely recommend!”

“Limited selection of items to ease the nostalgia. Went in wanting brunkage and salt licorice and they had both. The lady behind the counter wasn't talkative and missed the opportunity to upsell me as I would have bought more if she recommended some new items or told me more about what they were trying to do. The cookies were OK but reminded me that I should bake my own despite potash not easily found in grocery stores here.”

The store has a selection of fine gifts, souvenirs, soaps, and more from authors & artisans that are a little off the beaten path, which you will not find in any chain store, franchise, or outlet. Some of their after holiday sales might make for a good deal. They are conveniently located in the same Madison Ave plaza that also has a very good restaurant & package store.”

I occasionally go to this store because I know I'll find an unusual card, a not so common gift, etc.It helps a bit that they take both Hallmark and Paperstore coupons, but the prices are still a little high (which I don't fault the staff for, they're just doing their job)”

“An amazing glassware store. All items here are made of the highest quality and craftsmanship. We love all of their works. Their glassmaking facility is in Vermont, all items come directly from those glassmakers. These items are all high quality pieces. We have purchased several items and are very pleased. Today they were supporting a local non-profit organization by donating 15% of their sales. Great work and community conscience; a great combination.”
