Today I stopped with my wife to grab some red wine at Dan’s Liquor store. Once we got there we went over at the wine testing where Eugene greeted us. He was really knowledgeable about the wines and it was a pleasure speaking to him. My favorite was Minuty and we will be back to grab a couple of those bottles. Highly recommend this place!!

If you know exactly the wine you want (exactly!) then this place is perfect. Great parking, right in town, next to a grocery store and near Terrain. Owner (manager? Dan?) was friendly but he led us to a bottle of white I can only describe as swill. He made the sale, but if he lost a repeat customer.

I have been a fan of Dan's for years, supporting my local store, even when product's are available sometimes at lower prices around town. The staff is great. I asked about a product the store didn't carry and the staff graciously offer to get me a couple of bottles and even informed me that the wholesaler had it on sale to them and passed on the savings. When I went to pick it up the owner was in and refused to sell it to me for the price quoted. We are talking about $3 per bottle and said he would rather return it, then sell it to me!!! Seriously!!! Then berated one of his staff members, who was not present for offering me the price. So for $6 he lost a long time customer. Very short sited and an example of terrible customer service.

Nice selection, especially for whiskey. Store is well lit and clean and staff are friendly.
