I was at the Westport CVS today & an argument started between a man who "bumped" into a woman with her 2 little girls. A vile verbal exchange began. He said things no child should have to hear, especially being said to their mom.He finally left when she called 911. She got through, but because the store had no reception, she was struggling to tell them why she was calling.No employee offered to call the cops. No employee came to her defense, even to just get her & the kids to a safe spot. The manager never even came out & he was definitely there & had ample time to address the situation.I tried to find the guy so when the police came I could point him out because nobody from the store was doing anything.He was an ahole, but what bothers me the most is not 1 person in this busy store intervened. I can't believe the only person to try was a 62 yr old disabled woman, me.There's no reason the store couldn't have called the police considering they're well aware there's no cell reception.I will never feel safe in this store again. I'll get my scripts mailed thank you. If you can't or don't want to protect your most vulnerable customers you are failing.

Absolutely horrible customer service in the pharmacy and they have no idea when they can fill some prescriptions. The entire CVS prescription system is never working properly and they rarely answer the phone. The automated system will say an Rx is ready for pickup, yet when I come in, they say it’s not available and they don’t know when it will be. There’s no inventory management system and you simply cannot rely on CVS to give accurate information.I would strongly suggest using a different pharmacy.The store itself is fine, for the record, only the pharmacy is a disaster.

This has been my Go To Pharmacy for the better part of almost a Decade! They are always working so hard! Compared to most Pharmacies this one cares!

Pharmacist is rude and condescending. Know one picks up the phone and when they do, they hang up. People should not use the pharmacy. The people that work in the store are very good, sad the pharmacy is not.

I dont make it a habit of writing negative reviews but I can't help myself! Every time I find myself at the Westport CVS, something seems to go wrong. The computers are down, they don't have the prescription in stock, they don't answer the phone when I call to speak with a pharmacist... the list goes on.I will mention that the staff has never been rude to me and I have never been rude to them. I just find it frustrating to run into the same problems whenever I've tried to use my local CVS pharmacy.

CVS Westport charged me $106.99 for a free covid shot and I have insurance. If someone stole $106.99 from CVS would they contact the police. ? They are incompetent. Lazy to assist when a problem occurs. That’s corloryare USA. Pathetic store. Pathetic store. Pathetic corporate

The pharmacy employees here are very passive aggressive and really make you feel like an inconvenience to their day, not to mention super slow when I’ve seen way longer lines at other locations go by much quicker. Literally go to any other pharmacy

The CVS Westport Pharmacy are the worst people to deal with. They never have the correct information plus if you call them, you wait on hold for a while then they answer and hang up!! The worst!

I cannot say enough good things about ALL the wonderful pharmacy staff and Sandra the Pharmacist!! They all greet me professionally, ask me how I am, they work so hard, and I have seen how customers can treat them disrespectfully and as a now retired Emergency Room nurse, customer’s need to be more understanding, their job is not easy, this is a Very busy CVS and they do their best to expedite and help you!! I wouldn’t go to any other pharmacy but them!! So thank you Sandra and pharmacy staff, I truly appreciate you!! Judy Beach

Avoid this pharmacy if you can. It is disorganized and understaffed. Significant delays, poor communication, broken promises and long lines are typical. Although management is aware of these longstanding issues the situation has only worsened each year over the past decade.

The pharmacy is run by the rudest pharmacist, who has no empathy and just downright awful. The techs are not helpful. I waited over 25 min for a covid vaccine, only to be told that they cancelled it. Awful service. And the tech who jabbed me didn’t even talk to me or look me in the eye after their error. No remorse or empathy from the entire team.

New to Westport ... So far I'm completely underwhelmed, especially by the pharmacist at the Westport CVS. After having a prescription sent over three separate times, on three separate days, I was told the prescription would be on the next truck. After multiple days of calling, I was finally told there was no prescription listed for the "same" person. I called the doctor who stated they had verification that the prescription had been verified by CVS. The woman pharmacist, who I tried to explain this to, kept telling me just to leave my number. When I shared that I had already done this multiple times- she proceeded to hang up on me. This is less then an appropriate of a response. We will be finding a new pharmacy.

I've been coming to this store since it opened (80's?) and overall I've always found the people who work here to be helpful and pleasant. Fabian is really an outstanding recent addition to the crew. He was so incredible polite and helpful the other day. He made my pickup order a breeze, then helped me sort out one of CVS's more complicated coupons. He quickly offered to get the manager to help answer my question and she was also extremely pleasant. For those who rate the store badly, I think that's slightly unfair. We all get frustrated when things don't go our way and we aren't feeling well. I've been there (at the pharmacy counter!) but I think it's important to cut people some slack. It's not an easy job and pharmacists are in short supply as a result.One thing the store could do better is have to separate lines for checkout. No one ever knows if someone is waiting for a real person register or selfcheck out so they have to wait or ask. Maybe just add another rope?Update- It looks like now there are two separate lines for checkout. Thank you!

This is far better CVS, but I cannot figure out why the pharmacy doesn't pick up the phone and hangs up on its patrons. I hope to give them 5 stars as this is one of the nicest CVS in the area.
