I want to give 5 stars but a employee (Brett) was just so inappropriate I must be true to myself:I was excited entering the store because it felt so welcoming and it was my first time brining my daughter to a book place. We browsed for fun activity games and books safe for kid. There is a cafe and well worn benches to sit and read I’m guessing. The customers were diverse the day I visited all good people tall short jewish Asian all type. Although I had a strange and disappointing encounter with someone said to be the manager (Brett), I will revisit. Maybe he will have received some training or move on to another job cause he ain’t it. He was hovering around me and invading my personal space saying he was doing his job. I eventually moved to a less private area because I felt uncomfortable. Lucky my daughter was busy playing in the kids past.Another customer approached me and told me she saw and heard everything. She said she wanted to make sure I was okay. I truly appreciated it she was so warm to me and nice to meet. She then reported him to a kind woman with long hair working nearby. I also spoke with her. Another employee (Joel) was super kind and helpful too. It’s not what I expect from Barnes and Noble but since the pandemic, there’s a mixed bag of nuts out there. Good parking and a nice little local spot. Worth a visit.

The new Barnes and Noble is extremely disappointing. It's lacking the charm and fun that the original Westport location had. All of the books are marked up tenfold and you're better off going to your local library instead. The workers here are also rude and nasty. If you have a question to ask them about a certain book, particularly if it's in stock, they will try to shun you as much as possible. This has happened to me several times, as if the employees hate their customers. There's also no Starbucks or other physical media like DVDs and CDs in site here. The other Barnes and Noble locations have become physical media havens, and I love them for that reason. The CDs and Movies at your usual Barnes and Noble are cheap and affordable, and they often have good discounts on select films or records. But not here. Everything is jacked up in price just so that they can pickpocket the rich local customers who shop here and don't complain about how unjustly expensive everything here is when you can find much better book deals elsewhere or even just go to the library. If Barnes and Noble stores continue to decline like this, then the whole chain will sink with them.

Disappointing LGBTQ+ section hidden at the back of the store. Clearly Barnes & Noble does not care about inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community. I will not return.

I mainly shop for manga and Despite the downsized location, which isn’t unique to this store. I always come in and either find what I want or any of the always pleasant staff will order what I need despite how obscure some of my book titles can get. Big shout out specifically to Lisa who is the one who helps me out on (mostly) weekly Sunday trips, always helpful, always friendly! It may be a chain but it’s a local one worth supporting!!

The staff at this store were polite and respectful to me. They were welcoming. The store was really clean and beautiful, very organized. They have a cool selection with books by local authors. You can find some cool gifts here, like butterfly houses.

So sad to see my local barnes and noble downsize this much. There is often only one copy of any book for sale, and there is nowhere near the variety they were able to keep on the floor at their former location. Without the cafe and seating areas, where are people supposed to gather or meet? My local library has more titles available than this new location. The staff is sometimes cordial, sometimes downright rude. Its definitely a corporate downgrade

I have not been inside the store, but I had excellent customer service by phone. I wish I remembered the associate's name because she helped me find a product I had been searching for for weeks. Thank you for all of your help!

Nicely layed out. Very comfortable and the staff is helpful. I felt bad for the lady in charge of keeping the children's section tidy.

They still have books!! (But they no longer have magazines, a music/film department or a café or any seating of any kind).

Of all the B&N stores I’ve visited this is my favorite. Their set up per genre is so organized.

My wife bought my nieces and nephews books for Christmas here. My wife really liked this Barnes and noble and would definitely recommend. My nieces and nephews loved their new books. Five out of five stars.

Horrible service, the white lady helping at the register was rude to my partner and me after having a long, friendly conversation with the couple in front of us. We were trying to make a purchase and return and she was unwilling to help us understand why we were unable to make our return, instead being very short and condescending.
