I am a new customer of Athleta and the associates at this location are always so helpful and kind, I always end up buying something. The same can't be said for the Milford location, which is unfortunate since Milford is closer to me than Westport.

I am a regular Athleta shopper in size 1x-2x. This store carrried nothing larger than xl. I have been to many Athleta locations and never experienced such obvious exclusion of larger shoppers. Don’t waste your time.

Theyno longer carry larger sizes in the westport store so i know of about 5 or six customers lost ! No one wants to order on the internet when it comes to clothes u need to try them on !! Too bad will no longer shop here

At the Westport Athleta location. A clerk named Karen berated and scolded my wife for not wearing a mask. My wife's mask fell to the ground. She picked it up while managing a 2-year old, placed it had it in her hand and was about to put it on. Karen very aggressively reproached my wife in the harshest of tones from the very get-go for not wearing a mask. She took it a notch further to make sure the entire store heard what she was saying and to whom she was directing her disapproval. This happened in front of my child and a store full of people of people. My wife is a gentle and considerate person. She was mortified, cried from being embarrassed in front of everyone. My child got to witness a nasty store clerk berating his mother. As a family, we wear masks religiously, not for us, but for everyone else. Accidents happen. On the other hand, it is undoubtedly beyond the pale to mistreat well-meaning people and long-time customers of the brand with unbridled hostility. I will be cancelling our Athleta Credit Card for starters. That's my downvote for condoning such unprofessionalism. PS: DO: "Ma'am, kindly wear a mask in our store. It is our policy. "

I really like Athleta clothes and this specific location. I'm not a Lululemon type girl so take my review with a grain of salt if that's what you like. It's easy shopping, very pleasant staff and ample dressing rooms. You can park in the back or on Main Street. They do offer yoga classes, which I have not yet tried. My one experience was a guy behind me in the parking lot being angry and beeping due to the excessive car backup, then witnessing him abruptly parking and running into the yoga class. I shook my head... As with most businesses these days, I don't like the excessive tracking pushed on you at checkout. If I recall correctly, your Athleta points are even tied to the SSN. How creepy is that? People, how you allow yourselves to be tracked like heads of cattle is beyond me. But at least you'll be wearing fun Athleta clothes and comfy leggings while it's happening.
