Went to this Walgreens last night (5/5/24) at approximately 9:40pm when they close at 10pm. I felt bad going so late but needed to get a few things. I've worked in retail establishments before so I understand how annoying it could be when it's close to closing time. However, as long as the customer doesn't make a mess, etc. What's the problem? I'd never be rude to anyone. The girl behind the register was so unfriendly and rude, it made me feel so unwelcome. She didn't say hi or bye. She gave me a snotty look. I was so disgusted I honestly have such a bad taste in my mouth I don't want to return SOLELY because of this one employee. She shouldn't be working in customer service if she's going to be a snot to customers. Just be aware if you go 'late'. So unprofessional it's astounding.

We used to like this Walgreens. Now the pharmacy is closed on weekends. Also 1:30 to 2PM.It is not a good place for RX.We now go to Big Y for most. They are fine for nuts or cosmetics.Very limited.TheWalgreens in other neighboring towns are open for RX on weekends.

Under the previous pharmacist, Walgreens was terrific!! I am pretty sure he left because he was terribly overworked! Now, it's only opened 4 days a week and I can't get in to pick up my prescriptions because their hours are the same as mine! I am going to have to change pharmacies...maybe to Big Y where the awesome Walgreen's pharmacist went!

I Came in 10 minutes before close with a couple of emergency items needed. I figured I would not be greeted happily seeing how late it was. However, to my surprise Cody (Manager) was more than accommodating and happy to help. I was in and out quickly as I was sure the employees were ready and wanted to go home. The Manager Cody and The Cashier Mary, both treated me with curtsy, friendliness, and the professionalism that I more than appreciated. Well done Guys, I certainly thank you for your helpful service even though it was quitting time.Thank You!!!Eric Reeve

You’re better off driving to CVS if you need to go to the pharmacy.

I been using this location for 10+ years now. They always go above and beyond to help me. I have had issues and the pharmacist called and communicated with my doctor's to get certain errors resolved that I would usually be asked to do myself.

Love my local Walgreens. Especially wanted to highlight the associate Wendell. He is a great guy that loves his job and is very helpful. As a former customer service associate I know we deal with all types of people. Wendell handles everything perfectly. Thanks Wendell!

The most disorganized non customer friendly pharmacyI've ever experienced. Mistakenly Notification that prescription. Is ready...get there and they have run out of drug product. Ive been told at the drive up that they are too busy to meet their own schedule. After 5 years as customer they lost my address and debating allowing me to take my prdcriptions...on two occasions have called to speak to pharmacy and have had to hold for at least 8 min. Although this pharmacy is minutes from my home I'm forced to change stores....and travel....still worth it to receive professional service.

Let me start by saying- prescriptions and medications can be confusing and sometimes daunting, especially when refilling them is a difficulty each and every month. A particular prescription I struggled to fill at my regular Walgreens, I decided to have called into the Walgreens closer to my work so I could get it on my break. This was because I needed the medication that evening and wouldn’t make it back from work before the Walgreens by my home closed, in addition the Walgreens by my home was out of the medication and wouldn’t get more until Monday. So I advised my physician to call the meds into the Walgreens in Westbrook closer to my work. When I called to check on the prescription, the pharmacist i spoke with was the old pharmacist from years ago at the location by my home, his name is VP. It was such a great relief, because VP may quite possibly be the most compassionate, genuine and helpful healthcare professionals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He told me that though he didn’t have a full prescription he had enough to get me through when he would get more. He also made me aware of a more convenient form of the medication I didn’t know existed, and was not even made aware of by the pharmacy near my home. Even further than that he actually offered to take my information and contact me personally as soon as the rest of my medication was available. He deeply cares about each and everyone who comes into that pharmacy, and it shows. I’ll be switching the rest of my medications to this pharmacy so long as VP is still there!!

I moved to this area 12/1, and decided to use Walgreens for my pharmacy because I drive by it every day. Usually they are fine, but today I waited mor ethan 30 mins. for a prescription that their automated system told me was ready. I was waited on by two employees, and one of them helped someone she knew before she helped me, because he came to the counter before I did. She had called my name -- that my prescription was ready, and then she helped the guy in line who cut in front of me. Not sure where the other employee was who told me it would be a 5 min. wait. One of the employees argued with me, that I HADN'T received notification that my prescriptions were ready... when I get text and email notifications.
