“I have used Superior for body work twice: once where I paid out of my own pocket and the other through the insurance of someone who hit me. Could I have potentially found someone to have done the work for less when I was paying out of pocket? Perhaps. But I don't see how that would have been worth how smoothly everything went, the level of communication they had with me throughout the process (like when parts were on back-order), and the care I felt I was given. It was like working with your favorite cousin who you know kicks ass at what he does and is looking out for you.
Then with the work through the insurance company... Holy crap. They went to bat for me to make sure the insurance company didn't screw me. OEM parts. Amazing work. Countless phone calls and emails to make sure my truck was put back right when what went wrong was not my fault.
Great people. Great work.”

“I've got nothing but praise for the work Coynes performed on my Jetta. The front was looking REAL rough but lo and behold, two weeks later, you'd never be able to tell it was in an accident. They even went as far as to flatten out the front license plate that was really crumpled so no additional trip to DMV for me. So thank you Dave, Ron, and all the techs involved with restoring the front end of my car.”
“I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a stunning 1938 Chevy Coupe survivor from Vintage Motorcars, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the entire experience. From start to finish, Richard Willard demonstrated exceptional professionalism, honesty, and a genuine passion for classic cars.
Richard went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. His extensive knowledge of vintage automobiles, combined with his commitment to customer satisfaction, made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. He took the time to answer all my questions, provide detailed information about the car’s history and condition, and even offered helpful recommendations for shipping the vehicle from his location in Westbrook Connecticut to its new home in southern Oregon.
The survivor 1938 Chevy Coupe itself exceeded my expectations. It was exactly as described—beautifully maintained, mechanically sound. The vehicle required only minor maintenance to return it to the open road. These requirements were clearly pointed out to me prior to purchase and were quickly addressed when I got it home. Richard’s transparency and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in my purchase.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable expert in classic cars, Vintage Motorcars is the place to go. Richard Willard’s dedication to his customers and his impressive selection of vintage automobiles make for an unbeatable experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality classic car and top-notch service!
Thank you, Richard. Much appreciated.
