Been going to the West Simsbury post office for over 20 years. This is the first time I have taken the time to do a review. Time and time again these folks are the absolute, most unfriendly, unhelpful and borderline rude people I have consistently interacted with. Is in charge here? How about adding in the very simplest level of customer service?? This is not a one time occurrence. I hate this place!

I have only lived in West Simsbury for about 8 months, but every interaction I have had with either the Post Office or mail carrier has been great. Going into the post office, they have always been super helpful. My mail carrier is awesome. He doesn't try to stuff items in my mailbox.

Came here once and was impressed by their customer service. Gentleman at counter was very nice. Gave my son, who already adores the post office, a coloring page. My son wants to go back to THAT post office everyvday

Staff was entirely unhelpful and extremely rude. I called up about a package I ordered that got sent to their facility instead of Windsor Locks. I was “greeted” by a representative named Mike who proceeded to only tell me that they send mispicked packages back to Hartford. He then proceeded to laugh at me when I tried to inquire for more information, saying “we can’t hand deliver every package.” He then made a very audible sigh/groan when I asked for the number to customer service and the name of his supervisor (Mary Ann from what I was told.) Overall, very poorly handled, rude and uninformative.

Staff is incompetent and unhelpful. Unable to do even the most basic functions of their job correctly and do not offer even the slightest amount of customer service.
