“They added self-serve checkout since the last time I've been to this location and that sped up my checkout process. I was able to grab a bunch of snack options for a house warming party.”
“I like this place for getting a healthy lunch when I'm out on the road. They have a salad bar and some times I just get some carrot sticks and hard boiled eggs for lunch. Sometimes I get a kombucha. I'm trying to re-engineer my gut micro biome. I used to get a dollar chicken sandwich and Diet Coke from Wendy's. This is much better for me. They also have some hot prepared food. Last time I got some cooked vegetables in a balsamic sauce and a bit of chicken with curry flavor and red peppers. It's very healthy, lots of vegetables and not very expensive at all. I also like that it's quiet and not crowded like Whole Foods. It's a quick in-and-out and the guys at the register are pleasant.”
“This is where we typically do our weekly grocery shopping. Big y is usually better than stop and shop or ShopRite. Not as cheap as Walmart, but better quality and more emphasis on local foods. Clean and friendly/helpful staff.”

“I've been to G Mart multiple times over the years. Typically I got for one or two things you can only find there, and I leave with an over flowing bag. If you Southern or love Soul Foods they got frozen and fresh butchered Pork, nice size packages that can season quite a few pots of beans, Frozen Pig Ears for Mississippi Pig Ear Sandwiches, and every imaginable Butchered Pork Product, even Hog Maw! Same goes for Beef, Chicken, Duck and they have a lot of Turkey too. Same goes for the Produce, fresh and affordable and often times things you can't find elsewhere. My best recommendation is, if you love Ramen? They got a wall of it and a freezer case filled with Dumplings and assorted Fish Cakes. I could write a novel on just how much I have come to love the G Mart, it meets and exceeds my needs and expectations every time I go! They even got cookware and dinnerware! Best Ramen Bowls around!”

“Staff are excellent. Good prices on most items. Sometimes, I find items there that no one has at a great price. Produce, like any grocery store, must be checked over for freshness. I recommend going there first, than hitting the bigger chains for the rest of your needs. You will save $$”

“Aldi has everyday deals on top of weekly sales, & most items are cheaper than similar stores. They have fruits, canned & packaged goods, dairy, etc that are hard to find even at larger chains, too. There's ample parking, plenty of shopping carts, & friendly cashiers that make the shopping experience enjoyable.”

“The staff are very courteous and the butcher will cut up your meat , very kind. Clean place, yet needs more Caribbean products. They didn't have green bananas for cooking and no real Jamaican fresh hot peppers. They should begin selling red stripe flavored beer like NYC”
“I’ve recently moved here from Florida just off rt 80 in Guilford, I was in the store this morning 7/28/24, and I found the store to be very clean and the selection of cheeses to meats are on point, the produce was beautiful and very fresh! Artichoke leaves nice and tight, asparagus too. Typically Walmart’s produce is over the top gorgeous, I was loving Shop Rites this day.
I asked for lady fingers from an associate in the cookie ilse and he was extremely helpful!!!
The Bagels in the bakery are awesome! Do not even bother going to NYC.
The Ttiramisu they sell is the best I’ve ever had and I get tiramisu everywhere I go, hope they never change to another supplier of Tiramisu!!!

The only thing I would say is that it continues to get more expensive. there is one bright spot though, and she helps at check outs.. she's always friendly and upbeat and going out of her way. She's amazing and I don't even know her name.”
