DO NOT BOTHER. Horrible pharmacy. I understand working with the public is stressful, but S&S bit off way more then it can chew in west haven,CT. Horrible customer service- no one can take a minute to listen to my issue, and I’m always met with cold hostility. ESPECIALLY over the phone. Your responded to like you’re some kind of child, or drug seeker, and I legitimately am made to feel “wrong” if I ask a question over the phone about a controlled med I may have, or if there was a mistake(Which happens often as well) Also, I don’t understand how the night before they’re “working on my medications” but because insurance wouldn’t pay until the next morning, I called this AM, now this “medication” they were working on-won’t be ready until after 2pm? They started working on it the day before..But now I need to wait until 2 pm? And am given an entire attitude, while telling me this. Lord forbid you ask why? They were prepared and worked on last night! I was literally just waiting for insurance, they made the medicine in its bottles-so they “undid”an entire prescription, instead of waiting until morning?? I don’t understand this store, and how it’s operating, and it’s like they took the worst Cust, Serv. providers they had, and put them ALL in the pharmacy. and this is every month lately.. I’m looking for a new pharmacy..this place is just not worth the stress and anxiety they give when I’m just trying to fill meds, and be on my way. Some medicine I have, keeps me alive, so this is more then just a “prescription” to me..they do not value the customers they do have, and honestly when I’m in line, it’s not always the customers! Some of these cashiers have bad attitudes, and act like it’s a cardinal SIN to bother them with a question, or help! Don’t bother if you like friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, compassionate cashiers! They made a big stink about raises with their Union, they had nerve crying for more money and raises when they aren’t worth what they’re paid in the first place!!

So the only reason I'm giving five stars is for the manager or assistant manager Teresa!!! The new changes I think makes no sense it's going to make it harder for disabled people it's definitely going to make it harder for older people which is going to make people more rude to the people that work there and are there to help them but if it wasn't for Teresa today I would have had to walk away from putting almost $200 into the hands of stop & shop this woman stopped to help me when she didn't have to there's so much going on in there thank God for her I had to do this review now before I forgot her name because I'm going through a lot I barely can remember my own name. But without Teresa I would have went home crying feeling as broken as my body is and I really appreciate her and I hope stop and shop appreciates her as well because if she leaves that store I'm not coming back here too many changes and a lot of them already are not for the good but Teresa's the best thing in stop and shop she's been here as long as I lived here and she makes me feel safe asking for help which I don't do easily so thank you guys for hiring her again her name is Teresa she's really short with blondish hair and she's a wonderful woman and very patient very patient and I know she doesn't get paid to deal with all the nonsense I see she deals with when I come shopping but I'm just so grateful that today she was my angel and she got me through a struggling time just to do the basic things I wasn't alone today because of her so thank you for hiring her and maybe you guys should give her a bonus or something please and thank

This Stop and Shop has become a real negative shopping experience.Perpetual aisle and shelving changes, without rhyme or reason make the shopper feel disoriented. (Not just me, other shoppers wander the aisles complaining).The store is not clean.There doesn't seem to be active management present, even at peak times. No security/fights.The staff are lackluster, dispirited. There used to be a friendly cashier...gone. One very quiet, helpful cashier tries her best, as does one chipper young man. Sad.
