Oak Street Beach in West Haven is a beautiful and peaceful spot to relax by the water. The beach is clean, well-maintained, and has a nice fishing pier that looks amazing in the evening lights. It's a great place for swimming and family activities, with a boardwalk and Old Grove Park nearby where visitors can get a bite to eat at the Old Mexico Food Truck. The area has picnic tables and easy access to the boardwalk, making it very family-friendly. However, the parking fee, especially for non-residents, can be a downside, with Premium Parking charging $5.82 per hour. Overall, it's a wonderful beach with great views, but the parking rates could be more reasonable for visitors.

It's a great place for swimming and family activities. Not to mention the board walk and Old Grove Park is next to it where you can also get a bite to eat at Old Mexico Food Truck.
