My car has been sitting outside in the front over a month now. Every time I ask what's up they say they are " waiting on parts" . I will never ever use them again and I wish I never brought my vehicle there

Used their services through Geico, would never use them again. They had my car 3 months and 16 days saying it was a parts delay. I called GM cooperation to get assistance with the parts ETA and coach works didn't reply to my reps messages she left. I called weekly for updates and coach works had none. They stated they were waiting on a part as this was the norm for then to keep telling me. Finally received my car back on October 24th and Scott stated he had to detail the car it wouldn't be ready till 430pm. Why wasn't it been detailed they had almost 4 months. They left parts in my car and didn't put the antenna back on the car. Terrible service and lack of communication. They need the better business bureau to go over their practices.Service: Body & Trim

I had an excellent experience bringing my car to Coachworks of West Haven. Scott, one of the owners, was very professional but friendly when I bought my car in for an estimate after I was hit in a parking lot. The casing of one of my taillights was completely broken and I was concerned about it getting wet if it rained and shorting out the turn signal and brake light. I mentioned this to Scott after he told me it would take about a week to get in for the repair and he immediately offered to cover it for me with a self-sticking plastic that they use for broken windshields. It was such a kind gesture and made me stop worrying about the potential for electrical damage.The work they did is absolute perfection...you would never be able to tell that it was in an accident and the actual cost was the same as the quote they had given me at the start and in the promised time frame. I highly, highly recommend Coachworks for making my car as good as new. Thank you!

My car was slammed into in March 2017 while parked on the street on the drivers rear. The at fault driver's insurance Geico sent my car to this facility. I received my car back in July 2017 and discovered in August 2019 that they locked my rear driver's side passenger seatbelt into the seat during the repair. That door also will not open on that side from the inside should I have a passenger. The reason it took me so long to notice is because I do not have any children and travel alone 99% of the time. I suggest you do a FULL inspection of your vehicle when you receive it back. I haven't bothered to call to get a repair because it's been over two years since the repair and I work in lower Fairfield County so it's more of an inconvenience to me at this point.

I dont understand how this place is still open. They destroyed my car failed to pay for my rental because they had my car for over a month. Get my car back paint job is horrible bumper no longer lines up at all corners not even painted radiator support painted a whole diffreent color ac broken. Which they claim they did not do but it work fine before them. I will never be back there.

My car looked nice after bringing it here, but that's about all I can say positive about this place unfortunately. They said it would take 3 weeks to fix, it took 7 weeks, when I finally got my car back there was no wiper fluid in my car, they didn't tighten my battery so it died and I had to call AAA a week later to come tighten the screws so I could start my car. Then 3 weeks later something else had to be fixed that was on the same side they had worked on, and then 6 months later the battery they had replaced had to be replaced again. Horrible experience.

One of the best autobody shops I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They not only took care of my car they went above and beyond when I had a slight malfunction. Thank you to Scott and his team, made my car look brand new. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family. Thank you guys again.
